Is it funny that I've never heard someone say "mines"? It must be a regional thing. Is it just like, "Those shoes are mines?" I can't even wrap my brain around that.

I make a lot of mistakes here which I am later horrified by, but I love reading the grammar nerd level of interest in this thread.

I love that this thread was bumped maybe an hour after I changed my signature.

Recent grammar irritation: when people type 'could of' instead of 'could have' or 'could've'. It scares me that people actually think it's OF. aack!
