If it doesn't work out, it's fine...but sometimes the crap just lingers and the person who wants more just waits...like their fishing or something

It's like from "When Harry Met Sally" at the beginning when Harry tells Sally that guys and girls can not be "just friends" At some point (like AlphaGam said) one person ALWAYS wants more. It doesn't mean that platonic opposite sex friendships can't happen. My best friend is a guy (no he's not gay) but we were definitely had some chemistry on both sides at one point. No, we never acted on it...but that's another story ;)

I do agree there is atraction in a girl/guy friendship somewhere along the relationship but things can change. My best buddy in Highschool was a girl. Yah when we first were friends I had a crush. Most of the time she had a guy and I started to fall for other girls and she became like the sister I actually get along with. Now she is married and we are still good friends but we talk very little though because of distance and we have our own lives..

Yeah...that's usually how it is with me.

I know a lot of girls who i consider a sister i never had...though most ppl don't think i'm tellin the truth when i say that.

I don't know...i mean, yeah a lot of times one or the other wants something more, but i really think in some cases there can be true guy/girl friendships
