My undergrad was Ground Zero for a date-rape case gone terribly wrong. Basically, he said they had consensual sex; she couldn't remember anything because she was too drunk. John Stossel came to campus and everything! The University had to settle with the student for millions of dollars and now entering freshmen have to go through this boring role-playing seminar about how men shouldn't have sex with drunk women since they can't reasonably give consent.

That might be the same presentation we saw.

It might be boring, but it's a good point to make and for some reason people seem to forget how often that situation arises. In the example he gave us it was hard to not sympathize with both the guy and the girl...and presumably a jury would have a hard time seeing the situation in black and white as well. Bottom line was that even if people only care about themselves it's in a guy's best interest to not hook up with a drunk chick and in a girl's best interest not to hook up with a guy while drunk.

If that's what excites you. And you can stop posting without announcing it.
