Lol I agree about the Disney couple thing! I've liked Tenley from the beginning. Didn't she get the first impression rose? I was surprised Jessie stayed around so long cause every time I saw her, I went "who are you??"
|
Jake lives in the neighborhood of a friend .... there is some talk about who he picked b/c they've supposedly seen her...

It's amazing how many "who are you?" moments have happened this season. If you're going to have these people on tv, at least show us a few minutes with each one!
My favorite to watch is Gia, especially with her 1:1 and comments. She's just honest and cute and city but vulnerable. Tenley also seems really nice- if she isn't chosen, she'd be a shoo-in to be the next Bachelorette. Vienna I don't mind- I can see some of what drives the other girls nuts but she really isn't that bad in the scheme of things. You have to wonder if they'd be so opinionated about her if someone like Ali wasn't there constantly reminding everyone else that she hates Vienna. And Ali... she drives me a bit nuts. Focus on yourself, please, thank you. Oh! And Corrie. I almost forgot about her. I feel like I don't know her but I like her. Eh. Such is this season. Does anyone else love how they tend to go after certain industries (or attract them)? Several stylists of some sort (Corrie, Ella, Rozlyn, Jessie) in addition to the pluthera of models and marketing folks. But it's entertaining nonetheless, and they are fun to watch. This week's episode was pretty high on corny, but sometimes that's what you need- an escape! |

I won't post who the neighbors say it is or make references to her.
They (the neighbors) did say that traffic down their street has increased since the season started... I guess the single ladies in Dallas somehow found out where he lived and are hoping to steal his heart away or something? haha |
Okay, totally saw that one coming. My only hope for next week is that Vienna's family is a total turn off.
But Jake does his leaning on a railing next week. Yay! More drama! |
Yeah he does a "Mesnick" next week. I had to laugh while watching the show tonight my mother accidentally slipped and called Vienna ,"Vinegar". I saw the teasers for next week and Vienna's father tells Jake that he expects him to treat Vienna, oops I mean Vinegar, like a princess.

I wonder what the big dramatic moment next rose ceremony is. I've been reading that Ali leaves, ala Ed from last season. But, I wonder why?? Could it be because of Vienna? Or maybe her hometown date goes awry - Mom may hate Jake?? I doubt it will be job related, that's so "Last Season", but maybe.
Any guesses? If, what is being said, that Vienna wins the whole thing - UGGH! She just seems trashy to me, Bless Her Heart:p But, if that's what Jake wants, to each his own  |
Oh no! Is that what they're saying; that Vienna gets him?! What a shame. I agree that she seems trashy. But he and Tenley make such a perfect little couple.
I can't wait to find out what happens next week without a rose ceremony. Jake might be Vanilla but the season has been full of surprises! |
LAAAAAAAAAAAME.
I think that she's just doing this because she saw how it worked out last season. If she is, she's pathetic and desperate and can GO HOME. |
Yeah, I think she chose her job because she's seen it work out before. Then, of course, she calls him in St. Lucia. What a mess!
Is anyone else getting tired of the nice guy routine Jake's playing? You see this big smile on his face but it can be gone in a second. I don't think we've seen an honest emotion out of him yet. |
This season has been disappointing overall. I think The Bachelor/ Bachelorette train is running out of steam.
|
I thought the whole Alli thing tonight felt SO fake. Especially that scene where she collapses in the hotel hallway! Puhleeze. What, she can't tell her boss that she is on a television show?? I think she is definitely gunning for The Bachelorette. I didn't, but now I do.
Of all the girls left, I like Tenley and Gia. Tenley has too much baggage, though, and I think that will scare him off. Gia is totally sweet, but, beyond that..? If he picks Vienna, I am swearing off this show forever. It will confirm every stereotypical belief people have about men. How is he missing the red flags and alarm bells going off? |
Was she trying to get an Emmy for that performance? The tears, the collapsing in the hall, the inability to come right out and make a decision, or was this lousy scripting? Either way, how did both she and Ed (last season) get information that they were about to lose their jobs? I thought that once they entered the house, they had no contact with anyone until they were eliminated.
Using the same script just for drama effect does not work. I only have the show on because there is nothing else on tonight. If Bachelor was canceled, I would never miss it. DaffyKD |
I really liked Jake and Alli together. I wasn't shocked at all when the show the upcoming show and she calls him in St. Lucia. I wouldn't be surprised if she reappears there. I got the impression she wanted Jake to tell her to stay, he wanted to marry her.. and that just wasn't happening. She kept putting pressure on him starting with their time at her house when she said "If you asked me right now, I'd say yes" ..awkward!
Gia is pretty but has no brains whatsoever, she brings nothing to the table. Tenley just seems too sweet and innocent.. no one is that nice. And I just flat out don't like Vienna. |
Yes, I agree. I liked Jake and Alli together, too. Their dates seemed the most natural and relaxed. But time and time again, I just get a "fake" vibe from her. That pouty lip she did the whole time she was debating "do I go or stay", really irked me. If I was experiencing something that emotional, trust me, the pretty pout would have lasted about 2 seconds and would have turned into the ugly cry.
And it is not lost on me that I am discussing a "fake" vibe on this very unrealistic reality show!! |

Did anyone else get completely creeped out by the makeout scene in Vienna's bedroom. Daddy walks in and says basically, "Come on kiddies, no kissing!". Jake is 31 years old!! Vienna is 23, but she acts and is treated like a 16 year old. Wierd!! Run Away Jake!!! As for Ali, Run for the hills (of San Francisco!!). She'd be a FOOL to quit her job in this economy for the chance at love with a guy who is "Falling in Love" with 3 other women!! My husband watched the ending last night with me and he said that she should stop crying and just tell him, "Look, I love you, but I'm not going to quit my dream job (that allows her to live independently across country in San Francisco). You know where I live, come find me after this trainwreck is over." If Jake were a mature (ADULT) man, he would understand, give her a big smoochie kiss, and hook up with her later.. |

Soooo agree with this! What a delightful turn that would be! This is so scripted. You could almost see Chris saying, "Now, go collapse in the hallway..." I am gagging at Vienna, for reasons some posters on this site will understand..... Ugh. I am throwing up a little, right now, just thinking about her..... |
I am right with you, Katmandu and srmom...
My thoughts on Vienna - The girl has two facial expressions: the "smiling, never swallows her spit or moves her mouth while she is talking" face and the "pouty, sad eyes everyone is dissing me" face. My other pet peeve is the way she talks, " Ooh I'm so excited I get a see Jake tonight." Seriously, is that normal? "I get a" instead of "I get to" ? And while I am on a roll...what was up with her outfit when Jake came to visit? Cutoffs and a babydoll top? Is she 16??! |

Oh, and let me say this: As someone who used to date a commercial airlines pilot, I would never marry one. At least not a hot one. I believe it was Vienna who asked about the "a girl in every port" thing, but whomever asked it asked a good question. Pilots get a ton of side action due to all the traveling and staying in hotels. Many of them hook up with flight attendants. Just too many opportunities to be bad. I don't know that I would trust one.
|
I haven't watched this much this season, but watched it tonight. I have to say, it seems like he couldn't have two more different women in his final 2. I'm surprised he sent this one home tonight. And the whole Ali thing? Seemed sooooooooo fake.

Vienna = Vomit
I know everyone seems to think, based on the blogs, that Vienna is the one he picks. But, I have to believe that he would not have kept Tenley if he didn't really think she might be the one because of her ex-husband situation and worrying he would hurt her by keeping her around. If he is looking for marriage material - Tenley If he is looking for sex and a lot of drama - Vienna |
My husband was so funny last night. Every time he saw Vienna he would neigh like a horse and stomp his foot. He's obviously not very impressed with her looks ;) It also looks like she's put on a few lbs during "the journey".
We both think he will pick her because he is stupid. Period. Good luck with the drama - I give this one 2 months TOPS. I'm looking forward to the looks of horror from his family when they see her lovely tattoo on her hip - not even a tasteful tramp stamp, it's up front for all to see... But, hey, maybe they're into that? Who knows? |

Why Jake and Vienna are Meant 2 B
For every Ken Doll with no b*lls, there is a Plastic Boob/Personality Barbie. This just may be the perfect ending to the story Mattel has been trying to create over and over again in our minds. Can we really wrong this couple now? Think about it..
|
BF and I both gasped at Vienna's outfit for the hometown date.
On another note, I feel like Jake doesn't deserve Tenley. She was in a marriage that ended because of her husband's infidelity, but Jake is dragging her around on this journey where he is "falling in love" with several women. I realize that she signed up for it, but I feel like she deserves so much better. Props to Gia for how she handled herself with Jake after not receiving a rose. |
I couldn't help but think that the squeaky wheels got the grease last night. Those that said "I love you!" the most emphatically got roses. Vienna was throwing herself at him, quite literally, and Tenley was also pretty open about it. I think that's the main reason Gia got cut. Which is funny, because I swear this happens in every season. Whomever can't "open up" (read: say I love you) as much as the others will get sent home. Whomever is the most open is usually picked. Maybe Jesse/DeAnna would be the exception, he was slow to say it. But otherwise that seems to be a big piece of the criteria. I'm sure some of it is because you're trying to pick between several people and you need to know someone's really there for you... but if they're smart and just want to win, wouldn't they just lie to keep coming back? I don't know.
I do think that Vienna & Jake seem to have the most ease around each other. During his commentary he kept mentioning how immature she was- but that he could help her mature. Maybe he wants a project? They seem to be better oddball friends than a couple. And srmom, my husband agrees with yours on her looks. I wonder who will be the next Bachelorette. I feel like they're setting Tenley up for it, making her America's sweetheart. I'd love to see Gia in it but I'm not sure she'd be "open" enough or if America fell for her as much as Tenley. Who knows. I'll watch either way! |
I think Allie will be the next Bachelorette after all of this drama.

I wish they'd just start fresh and bring in someone new. This rehashing of rejects is getting old. I wouldn't mind bringing back somebody booted early on, because you hardly have formed an opinion of them, but once they've "fallen in love" with the protagonist, it just seems fake that they are ready to "take another chance" to find their spouse on national TV.
as for Ali: I wish he'd not pick either Tenley or horseface and go searching for Ali while riding a streetcar, red rose in hand, with "I Left My Heart In San Francisco" playing in the background. Now, that would be "The MOST dramatic rose ceremony EVER!" :) |

They like the built in audience that someone old brings. But perhaps we'd be MORE excited about getting to know a brand new person and seeing them fresh? They haven't brought back an early reject before, have they? Before maybe F4 or F5? That could be a good compromise. Quote:

Roslynn is the worst liar EVER.

I'm not convinced she's lying. Every season, I am more convinced that it's just all scripted. They are all acting.
