Thanks DaffyKD |
That was quite possibly one of the best episodes ever.
|
I love a good murder mystery. Especially when all my fave characters are involved. SPOILER: I'm psyched to be rid of a Mercy Wester, but I wish it'd at least have been one of the mean ones. I kinda liked her.
ETA: Okay, is anyone watching PP? Tracie Thoms is guest starring and she's the third cast member from the movie version RENT to have a role on PP. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who notices that, but I think it's kinda cool. |

I loved it too. It was a great shake up from the "same ole, same ole". When it first started, I was like "What did I miss? I don't remember how the last show ended!", thinking that it was a continuation...lol. I was relieved that my memory wasn't that bad after all! I very much enjoyed it but was sad to see the one who went leave. I liked her best of all of them.
I found Christina's reaction at the end particularly interesting. Her speech was great but it wasn't what I expected to hear from Christina. It seemed more like a Lexie or Izzy kind of speech to me. Oh Alex, poor, poor Alex. |
That was really, really good. One of the best Grey's I've seen in a while. I called it though when April got distracted. My husband and I both gave each other a look and said, "She forgot to check her throat." It was still a great mystery even story though we already knew the ending.
|
I really liked how the story was told. :)
but what was that between Derek and Cheif at the end? And I get why Christina said that at the end. That shows that she has grown. |

Love this episode...it was a really good follow up to the "Mercy West Invasion" last week, because you were busy following the character's stories and it wasn't revolving around the old vs. new. Also, the red head girl was slightly less obnoxious this week...but the tall goon needs to go next.
What happened in the last few minutes and scenes for next week...? My DVR cut off right after Mer got her discharge papers. |
Are we supposed to hate the chief this season? What a total jerk. He's holding all this isht against Derek when, if Derek hadn't come to him and told him, he'd have been fired by now. Does he really not get that Derek tried to save his butt???? His reaction toward Derek makes no sense to me.
Alex, poor Alex. I hate to see him going through this, all because Izzy wanted to make a movie..lol. How is that for mixing up the reality and the show? The diaper...lol. Too funny! |
How do doctors hold their bladder during a marathon surgery? Personally, I'd be all about the diaper too. I can barely hold my bladder for 4 hours much less 17 hours.
|
The ending had me speechless.
And I feel for Alex, he's cried more in three episodes than he has in the past five seasons!! |
I love being on Facebook while Grey's in on. The status updates are hilarious. It's like watching it with 50 other people. :)
|
Alex was yummy with out his shirt on.
I dont like the board guy. I didn't like that Chief didn't stand up for his doctors. Until the end. I REALLY dont like Sloan without the facial hair. |

They've completely sent the Chief off-track this season. I don't know where Shonda is going with him. And I don't mind Sloan without the facial hair but I still TOTALLY don't buy him with Little Grey. Completely ridiculous pairing. And am I mean to say I have not at all been sad for Meredith to have much less screen time so far this season? I honestly wouldn't miss her if she left the show altogether. And if Izzie IS pregnant as the previews suggest, oh good lawd, I don't know what... |

*Happy, perky Meredith freaks me out. *Wooooow. Arizona was able to stand up to the Chief without crying. Progress. *Callie still cracks me up! *Cristina going rogue=wow *I can't wait for next week! I swear, each ep is just more and more awesome! Seriously. |

Though I fully believe the show could survive without her. |

The one I want to leave is Izzie. She makes me want to puke every time she's on. |

I totally agree! I think the show has cooked right along without missing a beat since her role has been minimized. Her whiny, squinty, lispy voiced character has always been a flaw of the show imo. |
Nah, I miss Meredith!
Do you think they are planning to get rid of the chief...? Seems like the writers are making him very un-likeable. |

Izzie was one of my favorites. She was the optimism in the sea of dark and twisty. But she is a whole other dimension of weird. I mean, really, who stays cheerful when she finds out she has cancer, laughs hysterically when her best friend dies, but goes off the deep end when she gets fired? |
I like Meredith. I can do without Izzie.
I am one that thinks they may be getting ready to oust the chief. |
I think the Chief could definitely be headed for some sort of write-out in the script soon. I do not miss Izzie, not at all. Nor do I care much for the new people, except Arizona. I love her, she's made of awesome.
If you read the Grey's writer's blog, they explain Meredith's lack of screen time. During the first part of the season, she was heavily pregnant, so they tried to minimize her on-time, on her feet scenes (considerate of them given she was 8 months pregnant). This week's episode is the first time we've seen her full body, and it's her first episode post-delivery. The liver transplant was a nifty idea to write her out for a bit for the baby stuff, and I kind of wonder if that's the reason why Izzie's gone AWOL as well (in real life, she just finished adopting a baby girl from Korea). I'm a bit mystified though, as to why we haven't had any follow-up on that story arc yet. Meredith tells Thatcher I'll do this surgery for Lexie, and then maybe we can talk about rebuilding our screwy relationship, and then he promptly is not mentioned again. Bizarre. |

LOL @ Arizona being "made of awesome." :p And I guess the whole Mer/Thatch thing being dropped made sense. They can't bring it back up if Mer's disappearance is being downplayed. Maybe they'll pick it up now that she's back? I'm been lurking on spoiler sites and rumor has it Bailey's father is stopping by soon. That should be interesting. We've seen Mer and Lexie's parents, Burke's parents, Derek's mom, George's parents, Callie's dad, Cristina's mom....I guess Bailey is next in the rotation. |
Woooow Chief. Srsly?
|
I thought this episode sucked. Talk about a fast forward.

Does anyone know what happened at the very end of the episode tonight?! My DVR cut off. It NEVER cuts off at the end of Grey's. Most of the time, it even leaves room for the previews for the following week.
:( |
The end of the Grey's episode or the end of the Private Practice episode? (since it was almost like one show this time..)

End of Greys: Meredith tells Derek about Cheif's issue.
End of Private Practice: Someone tells Addison that they are pregnant and it won't be ok. Um, my shows are back!! :) Can Eric Dane be any sexier??!!! |

So I know she wasn't technically in this episode but I hate Izzy. I hope Alex dumps her on her ass and hooks up with someone else. |

I haven't watched Grey's/Private Practice in a while (a few months) but couldn't there be something better than pregnancy for Naomi's daughter? I thought we've evolved to the point that teen pregnancy, while still an issue, is not an end all, be all? Like, it happens. Teenage girls get pregnant all the time, regardless of class, race, how theyre raised, etc. Every family deals with it in their own way, and in a 2010 storyline, i'd expect it to be way less of a big deal? Or have i normalized it too much? |

And have they been together before? Or am I just getting people mixed up (as it seems that everyone on this show as slept with one another)? |

LOVED the Christina/Teddy ending - her career is her true love, not issue-plagued Owen. |
