Blaine Gabbert made some enemies tonight. And then he redeemed himself. The Mizzou-Bowling Green (seriously, this wasn't televised. not even ESPN360, only PPV) was 20-6 BGSU going into the 4th Q.... and then Mizzou scored 21 unanswered points. Overall this is shaping up to be such a trippy season.

I understand this is in jest, but for the record, the schedule is posted 6 years out and they schedule two-year stints (max) with playing the same college. 03/04-NC State, 05/06-Texas, 07-Washington, 08/09-USC, 10/11-Miami (Fl) 12/13-California. Schools and their conferences get a lot of money to play Ohio State, so there is a long line of non-Big 10 teams that want to play them.

Frankly, I am sick of USC because their band is so annoying. You would think being in the middle of the music industry that someone would teach them how to play more than one song.

This was a great weekend for the MAC :D

Second this! They used to bring the stupid band over to Pepperdine for the men's volleyball games. If you think it's bad having to listen to that in a football stadium or on TV, imagine it in a fieldhouse. It's completely obnoxious, but maybe that's their point.

Though I don't want people to be in pain or die, it would be nice if certain football teams had the swine flu or explosive diarrhea hit the first string so their fans would STFU when they didn't win. Especially if their fans a) didn't attend the college, b) didn't attend ANY college.

Thank God, USC lost. Congrats Huskies!

BTW...today was the first OSU game I have been to that wasn't a sell-out. It was at Cleveland Browns stadium and there were so many empty seats. Of course, all of the students were in Columbus or Toledo. It was mostly alums (older alums). We sat with a senior citizen group and the vendors were really having a tough time peddling beer.

1) Yay Ducks. Thank you for not making last weeks game a fluke.

Yeah, head injuries are never good. There were reports he was pretty sick afterwards (vomiting and the whole bit).

This morning, they reported he hoped to be released today. Urban Meyer stayed with him in the hospital last night and it was reported they were joking around last evening.

As much as I dislike those Gators, I hope he is ok. Concussions are NOT fun. Can you imagine playing with the flu and getting clobbered like that? Ugghhhhh. And thank you to ESPN for letting us share in his barf bag moments. Ick.

And about Forcier, I must say I laughed reading the paper today because they had to give his name a pronunciation key. Silly Floridians, if you lived in the Detroit metro area you would know how -ier is supposed to sound because Canada is (was) a day trip :p

I think that another third of Florida's is from Ohio-must have joined all the Michiganders on I-75 south and got off at the Tampa exits.

We're going to be on ESPNU tonight at the game! My boyfriend wouldn't wear a Vandal costume with me though so we could get on tv :( I thought he'd look hot in faux fur and a helmet.

Seriously...I am so shocked LSU was able to win tonight! I guess we get to be the most overrated #4 team in history for another week! Geaux Tigers!!!!
