Thank you.

How fun to see the successes that we had this semester. Can't believe that it won't be long until we are doing this all over again in January!

Think Theta!

[My oldest daughter is a DZ senior at the University of Alabama. This explains the screen name chosen four long years ago.]

My youngest daughter is facing Bid Day tomorrow at Ohio State. After visiting her final three sororities, she named only two on her selection sheet: Kappa Alpha Theta and Delta Gamma. I only hope she didn't seriously destroy her chances of receiving any bid by eliminating the third sorority from her sheet.

Anyone familiar with the nuances of recruitment at Ohio State?

From a Theta stand point or from a campus stand point? OSU is MUCH different than Bama. Your D has two of the houses that are the most popular of the PNMs. One, however, is having some internal problems right now, though.

OSU changed their quota system this year which will open more spots at the larger houses, but I'm afraid will knock out the smaller chapters. Most girls will get a bid by maximizing her choices. Since your D listed 2, she most likely will not have a problem getting a bid.

Jill1228 01-17-2010 07:22 PM

Ladies, pardon the crash! I just got back from the University of Pacific Bid Day. Theta did a wonderful job! They got 18 new members (quota). I will post pictures later!

That's my chapter!!!!! She's in really good hands. Delta Iota has an amazingly close knit sisterhood. I graduated two years ago, and I still drop in once in a while to say hi.
