LOL.
And I agree about SJP in "Sqaure Pegs." And I don't mind her in "Hocus-Pocus," where the looks work for her instead of against her. :p |

I also dislike Miley Cyrus. If you're going to be a lolita, than cool but own up to it. Don't play the innocent act. Britney Spears tried it and failed...miserably. Matthew McConaughey's voice annoys me. |
Co-sign on Miley Cyrus, Renee Zellweger (I don't mind her as a person, but her VOICE! ...sounds like she perpetually needs a cough drop), Jessica Alba (don't understand the attraction, and has she done one good movie?), Katherine Heigl (don't understand the attraction here either, but did enjoy Knocked Up).
Others: Joey Lauren Adams-- the VOICE! (Dazed and Confused, Chasing Amy)) Kevin Bacon-- I respect him as an actor, but something about his face throws me off. I always thought he looked a little like a pig... no pun intended. Molly Ringwald-- Her name reminds me of "ringworm." And I think she's annoying in all those 80s movies. I'll probably take some flack for this one. Calista Flockhart-- just seems like a cold b----. I don't think she is particularly talented. |

And I must add to the list... Janeane Garofalo. I was so disappointed to see that she was a new character in '24' this season (as I was when I had to put up with her in 2 episodes of my favorite show of all time... 'Seinfeld'). And she has become even more obnoxious because of her latest political rants. Ugh. ASTALUMNA06......I definitely agree with you........JANEANE GAROFALO IS WAY TOO ANNOYING AND VERY OBNOXIOUS!!!!!! CO-SIGN!!!!!!!!!!! CAN'T STAND HER AT ALL.... |
Cameron Diaz, I don't know what it is about her but I just don't like her. I can't even think of a movie that she was in that I actually enjoyed.
Drew Barrymore the way she talks is really annoying. I really dislike the fact that most singers feel the need to become an actress and vice versa (especially Disney Channel stars such as Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff, Ashley Tisdale, etc.) |

Scarlett Johnasson, Megan Fox, and Lindsday Lohan. While we're at it...I still hate that Jennifer Hudson won an Oscar.

Y'all have pretty much said my list...Rene Zellweger, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Beyonce, Matt McConaughey, Sarah Silverman, Tom Cruise...oh the list goes on. |

George Clooney
Mel Gibson (use to love him until he went wacko) Tom Cruise (except I liked him in Tropic Thunder) Christian Bale-his voice annoys me |
Can I add David Spade to this list? Watching Dickie Roberts and reminded why not all comedians should act.
Maybe Sarah Siverman, Martin Lawrence and Dane Cook (and to an extent, Bernie Mac) fall in this category for me. Man, I really loved Dane until he got majorly unfunny. Like, he clearly was feelin himself at one point. |
Beyonce always sounds like she has marbles in her mouth. If you must be in a movie here are some hints for you:
1. Don't be the financial backer of the movie. If that is the only way you get to do a movie and be the star then you should not be in the movie at all. 2. Get a diction coach. I know you are from Texas but should you sound like that in everything you do? A good actor has range and can make you think they are from anywhere. Your new Hunger for america ads that feature Hamburger Helper you don't sound too bad. Keep working on it. 3. Take a small part in a movie and learn. Quit having to be up front all the time. You need to fall back on something. Bey you can't be first all the time (esp when you aren't good at it). 4. Tell your momma that you are big girl now and you can dress your self. Then go get a stylist that is NOT related to you. 5. And yes there is something semi-blasphemeous about singing Ave Maria in a bathing suit. But that's just me. |
I never could stand Bill Murray. He has done some good films but there is something about his wiseass personality that reminds me of the guy who would show up for rush and the whole house just wanted to beat the hell out of him as soon as he walked in. Talk about a visceral reaction.
As a rule I could care less about who happens to be in any film. If its a good story line and a halfway good director who gives a rats rump who the trained monkey playing a role happens to be. If its a lame story, a pisspoor director or an incompetent trained monkey then I'll just give it a miss. |
When I first saw this thread I immediately thought -- Tom Cruise.

I'll co-sign on Sarah Silverman too. Angelina Jolie rubs me the wrong way as well. Just something off about her. |
I know she was already mentioned, but could someone, anyone, tell me why Megan Fox is famous? Draw a flowchart, perhaps. I'm just not seeing it.

Jack Black. I CANNOTTTT stand him at all. Jim Carrey. I'll be back for more. |
Keanu Reeves. Such a bad actor.

And I cringe whenever I hear Regis Philbin's voice... I know he's not an actor... but ughhhhhh. |
Another to add to my growing list: Nicolas Cage. I watched "Knowing" last night, pretty much because my husband said, "I heard it was alright."
It was fine, for the most part, except the acting and the end. I mean really? Aliens? Who directed this crap, Spielberg? Nick Cage, you suck. Stop it (sucking or acting, or both), please. |
Wow, I had no idea people really disliked Cameron Diaz so much. I actually really like her a lot.
I also hate comedians who feel the need to YELL EVERYTHING REALLY LOUDLY in order to be funny...it's not funny. Jim Carrey comes to mind. I also find Seth Green to be an absolutely annoying little twerpy kinda guy (at least his characters). Tom Green. Andy Dick. Carrot Top. Gilbert Gottfried (though he's on a whole other level of annoying). ETA: Quote:

Have to add Vin Diesel.......YUCK!

Pat Buchanan, I *****ng hate that guy, he's not good at all.

Tom Cruise- The whole "let's jump on a coach b/c I'm having a midlife crisis and need to feel good about myself so I am in love with a girl 20 years younger who said she wanted to marry me a like 12" is freaky.
Katie Holmes- she just isn't that great of an actor. As mentioned earlier, she talks from the side of her mouth and that is just plain annoying. I hated her in Batman Begins. Megan Fox- pretty face, but she just seems dense IRL. I think the only reason she got "noticed" is b/c she is pretty and that Brian Austin Green (who I loved on 90210 and Terminator and who I think is a cutie) was her fiancee. Katherine Heigl- I will admit that I loved her in Knocked Up, but IRL her attitude with Grey's Anatomy and the stuff said about her really turned me off. She seems completely conceited. Scarlett Johanson- just don't think she can act. |
Julia Stiles, Kate Bosworth.
|
Megan Fox is a horrible actress. She is hot, but I think she have just stayed a model.

Or are you aware of that and thought this was a funny way to run him down and disrespect him? If so, it makes me sick that you would do that to him. Pick on someone who deserves it and LEAVE PAT BUCHANAN ALONE!!!!!!! |
Not actors but...
Melissa Rivers, Joan Rivers, Ryan Seacrest
|
Ryan Seacrest makes my teeth itch.
|
Dennis Hopper. Can't stand him.

VERY handsome actor. just seen We Own The Night... his acting didn't really grab me. may need to see him in something else. |
I was watching one of my Scrubs dvds last night and watched one where Dr. Cox is ranting about how much he hates Hugh Jackman. I made me think of this thread. :)
|
Jennifer Aniston!!! I really don't see what the big deal is. Everytime she speaks it sound like whining to me. And when is she going to get over the fact that Brad Pitt left her?! Move on woman!
Eddie Murphy makes me want to punch him in the face. He's so stupid and nothing he's done besides The Nutty Professor has been funny! |

I love Beverly Hills Cop I and II, and Coming to America. I think Eddie Murphy pre-1990 was generally great. :)

Couldn't agree more about Katherine Heigl and Megan Fox. I'm also not a big Scarlett Johansson fan.
I feel like I'm supposed to like Sarah Silverman (and I did like her on SNL) but I just am not feeling it with her. Other people I liked on SNL but not so much in movies: Adam Sandler (the only movie I liked him in is The Wedding Singer), Rob Schneider. Other actors who annoy me: Tom Green, Dane Cook, David Spade |
