Although Michigan is my team and they're havin' a down year, Oklahoma looks for real. They broke down against Nebraska, and it may have costed them; but I still believe it's really between them and Miami. Miami has the softer schedule, but they seem legit. Oklahoma is HARD BOYEEE!

You are right; everybody plays the highly-ranked teams tight. The topped ranked team should not give up more than two touchdowns, and should win by two against the best teams in the country. Nebraska has done it; why couldn't Miami? They are number two now, aren't they?

I accept your point. Miami is good; but they're not the best team in the country-at least not now. If they run out the rest of their games, I probably would reconsider. At this point in the season, Nebraska has been most impressive. I hate Nebraska.

Michigan let me down; the whole damned Big Ten is flat this year, and Oklahoma lost!

I don't know man; I don't even care now since my boys are out of it. I do think Miami has a chance; but I think Nebraska's softer schedule-with the exception of the Big 12 championship game; will give them their shot at the Sears tropy.

Actually, I think that BYU and Maryland are real good teams too! Miami can't help it if the other teams in the big east are suspect! But you are right, these next games will tell the story.

VIRGINIA UNION UNIVERSITY...best in the CIAA! They won the championship this past weekend against Winston Salem State University.

My favorite team is VIrginia TECH though!

We are talking DIV 1A Champions! Congrats to Virginia Union but the CIAA isn't the Big east or The Big ten! If they win the DIV II championship, then we can discuss them. :D

Although Miami is on top right now, I still worry about the game with Washington. Miami never plays weel against them. For some reason they always seem to have Miami's number. But we'll see what happens.

i pray you're right o.a. i have a "little" money on the miami-washington game. also, congrats to the usc trojans. after a 1-4 start, they qualified for an invite to a bowl game, after trouncing the crosstown ucla bruins. just a few weeks ago, people were talking about the bruins deserving bcs recognition. what a joke!

Although there isn't a clear florida champion, Miami doesn't play florida this year unless by some unforseen circumstance lands them together in a bowl game.

Sorry about the lost to the Buckeyes. But who would have thought that Nebraska (giving up 62 points no less) and Oklahoma would lose to lesser teams this weekend? I'm feeling pretty good today. But reality check next week for Virginia Tech. We cannot afford to look past them. That might be what happen to the cornhuskers and sooners!

I was ALMOST RIGHT about Florida. They got that azz spanked by Tennessee. There were some missed calls that proved to be decisive, but Florida's line couldn't handle the Tennessee defensive surge. Very impressive! Barnett should be up for coach of the year, first the Northwestern Rose Bowl and now this!

I must admit the buffs are looking real good right now. They show no signs of the same team that lost to Fresno State.

Not to mention Colorado's first loss to Texas. And Barnett did it with a senior class recruited by Neuheisel.
