I just came from seeing it-i posted in the "feel like saying" thread but yes. Great movie. I was indifferent to Paula Patton playing Ms. Rain, but Monique and Mariah were great.

I was cool with Paula Patton as Ms. Rain. Going to see it in Times Sq was something different.....man!

I am looking forward to that Sherlock movie with Robert Downey Jr.

G-Kue 1911 01-09-2010 12:39 PM

What did you think of the movie...I want to see it but haven't heard much about it?

I like Robert Downey Jr, so I enjoyed the movie. It dragged in places, but I think that that was because of the choices of direction. I thought that it was visually interesting, nineteenth century London was well-done, and Law and Downey had a good chemistry. Worth seeing, though I would only pay the matinee price.

G-Kue 1911 01-14-2010 10:48 PM

On point comments.....I wanna see it again...seemed long!

I want to see Denzel's new movie. I can't think of the name of it.

Little32 01-18-2010 10:20 PM

^^Book of Eli. I think I want to see that too.

I don't know, maybe it's because last summer was so disappointing, but I haven't gotten to hype about a movie in a while.

I had read that that one fell a little flat. Have you read the book?

Just saw the preview for The Wolfman. Looks like it might be decent.

G-Kue 1911 01-21-2010 05:35 PM

Dang man....I guess I'll read the book!

No. I guess I'll check it out, too.

G-Kue, let me know if it's good.

Little32 01-22-2010 07:08 PM

I haven't read it either.

The previews of the movie reminded me of What Dreams May Come. I saw the movie and read the book on that one, and I enjoyed both though the book was much darker (by Richard Matheson, who also wrote I Am Legend).

I saw the preview for The Secret of Kells, and I want to see it. I had heard about it with all of the buzz leading up to the Oscars, but I hadn't seen a preview until the other day.

Is playing down the street from me now, so maybe I will see it this week. :)

Little32 05-14-2010 04:17 PM

I am so on board with The Last Airbender, even if it was written, directed, and produced by M. Night Shymalan (or however you spell it.)
