I felt the need to give my opinion, and I did. There is no big deal, the asker got many post already to make an educated guess.

I wouldn't be surprise from what I was inform does at least apply to some fraternities.

Informed, past tense. That's what I was referring to in asking how you made it to high school.

Comical, are you kidding me? Go join a Southern fraternity and then come back and call this hazing.

As far as me being in a fraternity, I don't need some junior in high school to validate that, why would I want to get on here pretend, sorry I have a life.

ETA: We all responded at the same time.

Bottom line: if someone asks about the way things work in fraternities and sororities, let members of fraternities and sororities answer. You may have been "inform" something, but we (as members) no how it really is. No one is telling you not to have an opinion, but you need to learn to stay in your lane.

If your trying to imply that only greek members are allowed to post a comment on this thread is ridiculous. Although if the asker stated that they only wanted greek member opinions then I would most likely not have posted a reply, unless I felt a urge to do so.

Do you not think that if the information you were informed of were true, we would have said something before now?

Clearly, you're hopeless. Good luck getting into a fraternity.

Why would someone want a kid 7 years younger than them and still 2 years away from college to just guess the answer to their question and act like it's definitive? He could have done that on his own and wouldn't have even needed to start a thread. You get on a fraternity message board and ask questions about how fraternity rush works so you can get answers from people who have been through rush/been in on bid decisions/been rush chairs.

I think things really vary with fraternities, and if you are a fraternity memeber as it seems your trying to imply... then you should know that well by now.

Well, if you knew much about fraternities, since you're so damn smart, you would have been able to decide which type he was planning on attempting to join, and been able to give advice tailored to that. Answers here aren't generic.

Do your English homework so you can make it to college then worry about rush.

And by the way, you're wrong. I'm in the SEC, we have the most competitive rush in the country and non-freshmen get bids at good houses every single year. Sure most people who rush are freshmen, but that's because most people know whether or not they want to rush when they get to school.

Hudge, such as big, large etc... may find use of it on television, class etc....

Yeah well the askers thread have been put offtopic due to a few misunderstanding what I wrote.
Re-reading what I posted may help you better understand what I meant.

Huge is the word you're looking for. Thanks for the English lesson, though.

There's no need to re-read what you posted. You need to swerve back into your lane.

HOLY HELL, take a grammar class. Or get a book. My 9 year old nephew writes better than you do.

No one is going to take you seriously anywhere if you consistently write this way.

HUGE maybe?

If your grammar is any indication of your GPA you won't have to worry about being in a fraternity.

Poster has no lane. He needs to get off the road before he gets his ass ran over.

knight_shadow 02-01-2009 10:51 PM

Well, that was fun.

I guess he had curfew.

nate2512 02-01-2009 10:53 PM

I was finally thinking GC was getting life back, it's been boring lately.

knight_shadow 02-01-2009 10:58 PM

Oh well. Back to the "Song Name Game" thread, I suppose.

migreek 02-01-2009 11:29 PM

Oh right huge.... I wasn't really that focus on the grammer of my writing. I rarely do focous on my grammer when writing online.

There are many comments I see on here that I would like to reply back to, though it may only lead to a waste of time. You'll have your opinion, just like I have my own.

knight_shadow 02-01-2009 11:30 PM

Take heed to what I wrote above.

Don't really put that much thought into my grammar online, perfect example would be random chats like this.
