If I were to create a drinking game around this show, it would have to be whenever the word "amazing" is used.
|
Toned down makeup - Stephanie is WAY too good for this show. I hope some really nice man (or a good friend who will set up a nice man) watches this and sees that there is a lovely woman who is ready to fall in love again.
She seems so sweet and genuinely nice to the other women. She is ladylike and classy with Jason. And, she is lovely to watch with her daughter. I teared up too (with Jason) watching mother and daughter on the beach. Forget her clothes, makeup and hair, she got sandy and wet playing with her daughter. I don't care that she used too much botox. She is a nice lady. I cannot believe he kept foul mouthed Meghan. It must have been at the producer's request - to keep the drama. The woman is trash. Even though Carrie was a mute, she seemed sweet and likeable... |
This show is painful to watch. These women are all so desperate. That one girl that knows everthing about the guy is a total stalker. What is up with that plastic woman? They should do a spinoff and make her a character on X-Men and she would be called Plasteek.

"It's the most romantic proposal EVER." "It's the most action packed season EVER." "It's the most ______ EVER." blah blah blah...you get my drift. |
I am so loving this season - though it might have something to do with the fact that Jason is a local guy :)
I like Stephanie, she's super sweet, but they (whoever does the editing) portrays her as all about her child. Which is fine, I just don't hear her talk about anything else and it gets to be a bit much. I feel like Jason clicks more with other women. I like Jillian, Melissa, and Molly thus far. And Megan needs to get the hell out. It's amazing to me that he can't tell she's a drama queen. And that she thinks she's not a drama queen. |

I love Jillian. Shannon needs to go first and foremost. Between her weirdo-stalker ways and her overly white teeth she drives me insane. And then Megan. |

With Shannon, I'm worried that she is going to have a breakdown, she is WAAAAAY too stressed. With Megan, I'm worried that she is going to do a beatdown on some poor girl. She is WAAAAY too much of a biatch. Hate her! If 3 go, I hope the other is Stephanie, I love her (in a maternal way) I just want to shield her from the joke that this show is. She needs to find a good guy and if the exposure from the show helps her, then great, but she needs to get off this merry-go-round. I think both Melissa and Jillian are great. They have the right temperament for being "contestants" on this show. IF it works out great, if not - Oh Well.... |
The previews made it look like Jason gives one less rose than he's scheduled to for next week. I'm thinking he doesn't want to keep someone hanging on who he knows isn't right and/or who is causing trouble in the house. I'm thinking Shannon, Megan and Stephanie.

Shannon Shannon Shannon... sweetheart.... desperation is never sexy.

So glad he got rid of who he did tonight.
Shannon, while I'm sure is a pretty girl in real life has so many unattractive faces on TV. That coupled with being absolutely desperate was just NOT working for me. And what in the world was with Lauren!? Talk about having no class. Being direct is one thing. Being a classless brat is another. At the moment I'm rooting for Jillian, Molly and Melissa the most. Still won't be sad to Naomi (who's totally friend material) or Stephanie (super sweet, just don't see her as being for Jason) get the boot. |
Well, I was off by one. I really like Stephanie but agree that I don't see her as being for Jason. I was surprised he didn't cut her loose last night. Then again, she's probably the most mature of them all. She seems very maternal but almost too sophisticated/refined/elegant for him. He seems to have a silly side and I'm not sure I see that in her. How many times did I hear "It's not fair" last night? It always bothers me when women are rejected and their thoughts go to "What's wrong with me?" instead of understanding that it's just not a good fit. So much of "clicking" with someone is undefinable. Sometimes, there is NOTHING wrong with that person, they just aren't "right". I couldn't help but wonder if him keeping Naomi has something to do with all that kissing during those all those takes. I'm thinking Melissa for the end.
|
Ding dong the witch is dead!! SOOOOO glad that Megan finally got the boot.
I will give her credit though for not letting loose with a string of four letter explatives at the end (which is more than I can say for her the rest of this season). Also glad to see Shannon gone - totally agree that desperation is NOT attractive or sexy. The pathetic expression she had on her face during the rose ceremony was enough to put off any rose giving! Anyone else notice the song lovely;) Lauren sang at the end? It was all about being famous and how rich she'll be (be able to shop anywhere and no worries about cost). It was quite telling about what her motivations for coming on the show were. Glad she's gone as well. Please, someone be watching this show and see what a jewel Stephanie is! I hope she gets set up on wonderful dates and finds true love again. She deserves it - she is a total class act!! I did feel sorry for Nicki, but she's not right for this show either. I hope she can gain some self confidence and get over the sorrow of the 11 year relationship dump. Speaking of that, I know a number of women who that has happened to (two examplse -my cousin and my college roommate) - where they have dated either a highschool or college sweetheart for YEARS, only to be told shockingly that while the man loves them, they are not in love with them anymore and don't want to marry. Inevitably, the man ends up marrying pretty quickly after that (the next good one who comes along), while the woman lives bitterly single for years after.... SAD. |

I'm so glad Jason did what he did last night. None of those final three ladies were right for him. Shannon is creepy, Lauren is rude, and Megan...well, enough's been said about her :) About the Stephanie & Nikki date, on his blog Chris Harrison said that Jason deliberated for about an hour before deciding. I think if it had been Stephanie & Lauren or Nikki & Shannon (or some combo like that), both Stephanie and Nikki would be here. However in the end I don't think Nikki was right for Jason anyhow. Next week should be interesting. I still favor Melissa, Molly, and Jillian - but I want to know when DeAnna is coming back! Drama! |
I can actually say that I like all of the women left so far. It will be interesting to see what their takes are on Seattle. As nice as Stephanie is, I can't see her living in Seattle...she just seems too polished and perfect, whereas Seattle is best for people who are casual, laid back and a little quirky, I think. Compare that to Jillian, who lives just a couple hours north of us in Vancouver.

I really like Stephanie, but like many of you said, I don't think she'll win. I hope he's not leading her on.... it seems like she's the only one he hasn't full-on made out with (?)
And that girl (was it Holly who had the single date? I don't remember her name) sounded like such a hussy when she got home. "Oooooooooh it was soooooooooooo nice and we didn't sleep allllllllll night! Ooooooh I'm sooooooooo tired! I don't know how he's going to stay up for your date b/c he didn't sleep all night either!" |
It's Molly. Did she even mention that they were in a tent when she was telling the other women?
|
I don't remmeber her mentioning that...
Argh! It's so hard to tell who it's going to be! Most of them are brunettes left! |
Did I miss it?
It seems like so far the only one he hasn't asked the whole "if I go to your hometown, who would I meet what would we do, etc" is Stephanie? |
:(
I'm so sad for Stephanie. I think I knew she wouldn't make it much farther, but I feel bad for her. I really liked her |
She seems like such a beautiful soul. That was the classiest, most graceful exit I've ever seen. I really really hope she finds happiness.
|
I believe she really did know, as she told him, that he looked at her differently than he did the other women. I have a lot of respect for him too. He seems more sensitive to the girls' feelings than many of the bachelors ever did. I do think he genuinely liked Stephanie but that there wasn't the same kind of chemistry. They always seemed to go back to talking about their kids and not so much about each other also.
I think I'm still pulling for Melissa. She seems the most grounded of them all. |
I did miss last week's episode, but caught tonight's. It seemed like these girls, now that the drama queens are gone, seem to get a long great. Not too much cattiness between them (I didn't say none, lol...just not too much).
|
I call BS on that houseboat in tonight's episode. Unless Jason came into a lot of money and moved across the lake, there's no way that was his house. Jason has always said he lived in Kirkland, and when he was on The Bachelorette, they showed his house in Kirkland. The house tonight was a houseboat on Lake Union in Seattle proper, a place where houseboats go for $1 million+. I'm disappointed ABC apparently decided to fake it and rent out a house for the episode, especially since it means that Ty was forced to sleep in a strange house, too. No wonder he was weirded out by the whole thing.
I was surprised the production picked the Fairmont Olympic to stay at. It's a lovely hotel - the oldest and one of the classiest in downtown Seattle - but I would've thought they'd pick one of the more contemporary and swanky hotels in Seattle (Hotel 1000, the W, maybe Hotel Monaco, etc.). But The Georgian is a very elegant restaurant; it's the first place I had caviar and steak tartare. Other notes on this episode: - If you come to Seattle, don't have dinner at the Space Needle, like Jason and Melissa were supposed to have on their date that got changed. It's a tourist trap and not very good food for the money. Seattle has a gazillion great restaurants, and that's not one of them. - The huge sports store they went to is REI's flagship store downtown; it's cool to look around if you like outdoor activities. You can try out rain coats in a shower, try mountain bikes out on an outdoor trail, and try hiking boots out on an indoor trail/ramp. Then of course there's The Pinnacle (the climbing structure). - That walk Molly and Jason went on during dinner was FAR. They went all the way down to the waterfront and walked around down there and around Pike Place Market...they probably walked about 8-10 blocks and back. I'd be annoyed if I were Stephanie and Jillian! That was rude. |
spoiler alert!
I don't think it's necessarily a "new" spoiler because I remember reading the guess that she gets the final rose as the season was just starting, but this link now says the guess has been "confirmed" (still just by internet sleuths, not by the network or anything) -- link
Personally, I wasn't a fan of hers at the beginning and have missed several episodes so still didn't love her going into last night, but after catching part of last night, am more on board with her winning now (if it happens). (not that it matters what I'm on board with ;), I just feel invested with our little Jasey-poo and only want the best for him and little Ty-Ty) |
I hope this is true! I loved Melissa back on "Making the Team"! :-)
Is DeAnna really going to pop up?? I hope she gets a smackdown if she does. |
I loved Stephanie's exit - what a class act!! I felt that both she and Jason handled it very well. His speaking about her in front of the other gals was really respectful and they both acknowledged that, while they really liked each other, they didn't love each other. Hopefully, this will lead to lots of blind dates!!
I hope your spoiler is true, I like her and think she is the most "real" of the remaining gals (although Jillian is pretty cool too). |

I'm really excited to see how the hometown dates go - and to see when the heck they're going to bring DeAnna back! I want to see how that plays out and what Jason does (though I do think that's pretty freakin mean). |
I am going to guess Naomi is the next to go... she keeps throwing in all those "I'm really ready ! No really! Like Ohmigawd! You're my potential future husband!"
That and the fact that her family seems to be borderline crazy with the dead bird and the random hula hoops. |
dude... that's messed up... I knew DeAnna would be coming back, but at the beginning of the season I thought it would be earlier on in the show.
That's pretty f'ed up that they are bringing her back right when he's already fallen for other girls! |
I am LIVID with local tv.... video FROZE right before the final rose, and never came back. I wanted to see the previews for next week!
Guess I'll have to wait for tomorrow on that at ABC.com. Dadgumit! |
Those were really crazy family dates. If things had been like the first time I'd met anybody's family, I'd have run far, far away. I think Melissa's friends were very cool though. I hope Jason doesn't hold things against Melissa because her family doesn't want to be on TV for this thing. I can't blame them, really. I honestly believe that a person's friends say a lot more about them than their family. You can't pick your family, you pick your friends. Not having the closest of relationships with your parents doesn't make you a bad person. You probably wouldn't even see that family very often anyway. I'd rather have "rarely seen" in-laws than totally whacky ones that I have to spend a lot of time with! I like Melissa best, I truly do.
Previews show Deanna coming back and telling Jason that she thinks she made a mistake and since he hasn't proposed to anybody else yet, they could still have a chance together. They also show very romantic dates in New Zealand and Melissa saying something about not seeing her parents and that whole issue coming up again. When Melissa and Jason greeted each other in Dallas, Jason seemed genuinely excited to see her... moreso than with the other girls. |
I agree that Jason's excitement to see Melissa seemed a lot more genuine. My money is still on her. However, I really like Molly too.
I have a feeling this whole Deanna thing is being twisted by the previews and isn't really going to be her coming back to be all like, "Pick me!" I think its going to more about her telling Jason not to make the same mistake she did....to pick carefully....to not rush into anything....etc., etc. |
If somebody brought out a dead bird to bury that they'd kept in the frig, I think I would graciously excuse myself.
Then, if someone started proselytizing to me either about my Christian faith or about reincarnation, I'd probably have to excuse myself as well. So glad he nixed that girl from the crazy family!!! |

I really like all three that are left, but I'm thinking Melissa and Jillian for the final two. I feel like Jillian's hometown date went the best and they really connected, and that he would pick Melissa over Molly. But I will be really interested to see what all this business about DeAnna is. I think it's shady to bring her back so late in the season. It better not be an "I want you back" sort of thing -that's just mean. Did anyone else read Chris Harrison's blog? I'm excited for the "Tell All" show. Usually I'm not, but I think it will be an interesting one this time around. |
I was just reading the screencap analysis at Fans of Reality TV [ok, so clearly, I'm procrastinating to be spending time over there] and the rose ceremony from last night did not have Melissa getting the last rose as it was aired - she got the 2nd rose. When she is walking back to the line there is still a rose on the table.
DRAMA, I tell you :) |
Where is Chris Harrison's blog? I'd like to read it

Glad Naomi left. She may be a nice girl, but I never liked her for Jason.
Jillian's my favorite. Hands down. Then Melissa. Same as it's been all season. |
