Nittanyalum, I think it's great that you were thoughtful enough to post this for your friend.

I think people often don't become organ/tissue donors, bone marrow donors, etc. because they don't know what is involved or simply because they don't consider/think of doing it unless their lives are directly affected by a friend or family member's illness. Thanks for the reminder.

Bump with good news, they've found a match for my friend's husband! They are waiting on the results on a biopsy they just had to do on a spot they found in him, so everyone's praying it turns out benign so the transplant can move forward. Please keep good thoughts!
