Their FAQ states an order can take up to 3-4 weeks, and since you previously stated you ordered it August 31st (a Sunday), it has now been three weeks; they also say during peak times it can take longer, and that is a peak time for rush at many schools. If you did a RUSH or FAST SHIP order that might be different, but they plainly state this on their page, and they had a natural disaster which obviously changes things. Also during that time span at the end of August, these people in Texas had the threat of Hurricane Gustav.
Neither of us know what sort of system they had for email, and not every system is accessible from every working computer. Maybe their customer database was unavailable or there was a server or password issue. I just don't understand your anger and impatience when even without natural disasters (two hurricanes in the time since you ordered) your stuff may not have arrived under optimal conditions.

Given that I've ordered from them in the past in the middle of September and gotten my order in less than two weeks, yeah, I'd say that's plenty of time, and it wasn't a bulk order. Just three items.
Combine that with the fact that I only just learned that they're based out of Houston and therefore didn't know that they were affected by the hurricane and that I ordered about two weeks before the hurricane hit (which should have been more than enough time to get back with me under the circumstances), and I was just worried that my order had been lost in transit somewhere and that I was going to be billed for items never received.

On their main webpage it gives their contact information, and plainly states their phone number and address, in Houston. Maybe because I have lived outside of a major metro area for awhile, I always try and figure out where my stuff is coming from so I can keep shipping times realistic.
You still have over a month, you can always order from somewhere else. I realize your money is tied up there, but they are suffering from a natural disaster, and I don't think blasting them online is very appropriate. |
