The products work very well. The funny bottles are a bonus.

I might have to check this shampoo out. It seems lately that my hair has changed from being "normal" to really oily at the roots and dry everywhere else.

I usually use Head & Shoulders, because I have a really dry scalp, but it doesn't help my hair (it seems to dry it out).

Nexxus Therappe for me! I used to use Aphogee which was also awesome, but my hair dresser recommended this one and it's super moisturizing.

My shower currently has Aveda Dry Remedy, Color Conserve (can't stand but using up the bottle) and Chamomile shampoos along with a Lush Squeaky Green shampoo puck. Then there's Aveda Damage Remedy Conditioner, philosophy amazing grace conditioner, and a Suave knockoff (think it's the Nexxus one).

I'd like to find a really good everyday conditioner for color treated hair though. Any suggestions?

Usually I use Pantene's Purity... their basic clarifying shampoo. I tend to have oily hair and this stuff helps alot.

I also LOVE Victoria's Secret So Sexy. I use the "balancing" shampoo and conditioner for normal hair. It smells soooo good..

Being one with head full of curls....finding the right shampoo and conditioner can be impossible at times!!!! Right now I am using the Dove curly hair stuff, but I have also used Brilliant Brunette and Frizease.

I used to have the hardest time find the right moose/gel combo for my curls, but now I use the Catwalk brand by Tigi! A little more expensive, around 13 bucks for a bottle, but it lasts nearly a month!

I have the dilemna of having oily hair with color. Normally I'd just use a clarifying shampoo everyday, but I don't want to strip my color. I'll have to check out that Aussie stuff.

Chi or Biosilk products. They are expensive, but they really tame down my curly hair

Aussie Cleanse and Mend

I colour my hair, and after about a week of using it I'd say I'm really happy with the Aussie Cleanse and Mend. My roots are oil-free, and the ends look good - overall it seems to be doing a good job keeping the colour true. I've tried "colour" specific shampoos, but was underwhelmed.

My FAVORITE is John Freida's Brilliant Brunette line. I use the volumizing formula. I have a lot of hair, its just really fine and tends to hang. This shampoo/conditioner is the ONLY one that gives my hair any kind of movement. Plus it makes my hair SO shiny. I also love the Shine Shock leave in balm.

On side note, there is a page in that Atl. paper that gives info about 4 or 5 new products or foods.

Today, there was a bath gel called Black Licorice:p:p. YUCK!!!

Aussie Sun Touched Shine

I love Aveda products too

My favorite line is Kerastase, but it's expensive so I only buy it every once in a while. Other than that, I use Redken and Pantene.

Love Aussie Cleanse and Mend! It's a good everyday shampoo.

Ohh, I may have to check these out.

I used to use Bumble and Bumble's Gentle Shamoo, and Super Rich Conditioner but they are in scarce supply here in WV so I've been using Pantene's brunette whatever shampoo, which I like, and trying out various conditioners (and have yet to find one I love).

I ordered from drugstore.com and randomly I received a full bottle of Bumble & Bumble super rich conditioner (I didn't order it, and since it's worth $25 I don't think it could have been some promotion, like spend $X and get a free bottle). It is quite possibly the richest conditioner I have come across. When my hair was frizzy in my early teens, it would have been a godsend. Now my hair is oily and fine and limp, I use it maybe once a month if that. I'd recommend it more for people with very dry or unruly hair!

Bump.

I need a new shampoo!

I don't necessarily need them but I prefer clarifying shampoos (as mentioned above). But any shampoo that will get my hair good and clean works for me! I'd love it if it has a pretty, strong scent, but that's not a must.

The best two I've used so far are Pantene Purity and Herbal Essences Drama Clean. I like them, but I want to try something new.

I just bought Garnier Pure Clean (the one that claims it's all natural...which I'm sure it's not) and it's CRAP. First time I used it, it was fine. I liked how light weight it felt when I poured it in my hands. Well it either does not clean very well or it's difficult to wash out, because after getting out of the shower and blow drying, my hair feels greasy underneath. It looks fine, but when I run my fingers through my hair, it just feels dirty. At first I thought I wasn't rinsing well enough, but I've NEVER had this problem before...

So GC, your suggestions? I have fine, but thick hair. It styles well when I take the time to style it, but if not, it falls flat. So I don't think I need any special kind of shampoo. just one that gets my hair very clean! Bonus points if it smells pretty!!!
