Cut the girl some slack. Not everyone who goes through as a Junior "obviously doesn't want it as much as they think they should"

To the OP- absolutely! Go for it. You have a better idea this time around than you did the first time. I know on my campus, a lot of the women I talked to went through as Juniors and even Seniors. It's not a fruitless effort!

On some campuses, yes, it is pretty much a fruitless effort. What is true on your campus is absolutely not true across the board at every other school.

It's a big school but honestly, I think that somewhere along the line, it IS going to come up that you depledged so it's kind of moot that it's on here. Just say "it wasn't a good fit" and leave it at that.

Wow PlainJane, chill the heck out. :eek: At this campus, it is more likely that a junior would receive a bid than some others.

Given the nature of those posts, rushing again may not be the best thing to do.

Based on her posts the OP is looking for reasons not to rush. Hence, my comment. Hence, the rest of you can "chill the heck out". :eek: I told her what she apparently wants to hear.

Thanks for everyone's input, its defintiely helped in my decision. Greek life is something I have wanted, and when it didn't work at first, I just gave up on Greek life being a fit for me. I was over dramatic about it.
