Sounded like what we would do here at UTEP!!;) Then we dump them in Mexico only a couple of minutes away.

What do you not understand?

There is a Brother on G C that had a picture and asked if anyone wanted a copy. Those that contacted him were sent the picture.

I got mine and had it framed. There was a guessing game of who was who in the picture.

It is some where in the LXA threads. As I said, seek and ye will find!

If you go to the search function and type in 'neophyte' and set it to where you are searching LXA threads it should be the 7th one down and the thread is titled The Neophyte.

I wish i could have just cut the link and pasted it here, or even repost the pic, however cell phones are still somewhat limited in their use.

It looks like a broken link currently

They take the neophytes around to all of the places where our old houses were or where we stated meeting.

LOL, one is now a Taco Bell and another is a parking lot!:D

Hmmm.....two of our former locations are now beautifully paved parking lots, another is now a new apartment building...only 2 of the 5 houses I knew of are still standing....we were a little rough on the buildings, I guess....

My personal rules of thumb for Pre-I stuff are as follows:

Create events that do two things:
1) Prepare the associate members for the lessons they are about to learn.
2) Bond the brotherhood together (not the AM class, but the entire chapter).

Eliminate events that do two things:
1) Foreshadow the ritual.
2) Separate the associate members from the brotherhood.

I agree with someone's earlier post when they advised you to contact your ELC. The General Fraternity has worked a lot lately to create/adopt/adapt Pre-I lessons that are meaningful and really quite symbolic. I'd advise you to go this route.

Yours in Z A X ,
