I'm not sure if Kappa has an official tagline, but I have heard "Tradition of Leadership" used before.

I understand that Alpha Phi just voted on new branding, DPhiE has a new site coming out this month and several other groups have convention this year and may unveil new taglines. Let me know if I am wrong in interpreting the inter/national websites. I used capitalization and punctuation like that used on the sites.

I really like some of these. I see a trend towards uncapitalized sentence fragments (AOII, Tri Sigma, ASA, AXiD, AST, KD, AGD), three words connected by periods, commas or no punctuation (Phi Mu, Gamma Phi Beta, Alpha Delta Pi [with Since 1851. tagged on the end!], DPhiE, Phi Sig), and a single word (Chi Omega and Delta Zeta.)

Either that or "Leadership, Scholarship, and Friendship"

Tradition of Leadership is our official tag line according to the PR document on the website

Leadership, Scholarship and Friendship are the "key messages" per the same PR document.

Sounds good...I put it down for now.

I changed both of these! Thanks, guys! The list looks pretty complete. We sure have some good PR minds working for the NPC!

I'll change it when your new site comes out. Okay?

Aspire, Seek, Attain is our open motto. I guess you would call "Every member makes a difference" with the red & white shield our "branding".

Thanks for explaining! I like them both.

I haven't heard that became our official tag line. Awesome! I love how your so up to date with things Paula!

SthrnZeta 07-04-2008 07:06 PM

I realize open mottoes and taglines are different, I was simply saying that "Seek the Noblest" is more of an open motto for ZTA rather than simply a branding or tagline.

I figured you out yesterday afternoon...I completely misundestood your post and Just Interested's post right after yours! In the end, I think the answer is, "No." Most NPCs do not use their open mottoes for their taglines. ZTA is lucky to have a short and sweet motto that works well as a tagline!

I've seen that on a lot of your collegiate chapters' websites. I thought y'all might have changed it recently, but apparently, like with AOII, the older ones inspire a lot of loyalty. I'm still partial to "The Power of Friendship...AOII" and "One Motto, One Bond, One Badge and Singleness of Heart"

For any ASAs, when did y'all change from "Aspire. Seek. Attain."?

Aspire Seek Attain is still our open motto. I believe, and I may be 100% wrong, that the Every Member Makes a Difference was from our centennial convention theme.

aephi alum 07-05-2008 10:16 PM

AEPhi's branding and "Above All Else" tagline are relatively new. Our open motto (which is in my sig) is very different. I think the new branding is pretty snazzy. :)
