Luke Russert is on Larry King right now. He seems like a nice guy and he says all the support has helped him get through this.

They played Brokaw's speech from his father's funeral and Luke smiled and said "awww my good ol' Uncle Tom."

I can't imagine what that guy is going through right now. From everything I've heard (including people who I've talked to from Boston College), he and his father were genuinely very close. I know he's been around the media and attention his whole life, but he's been incredibly poised through the whole thing.

Andrea Mitchell would be horrible. I'm not sure David Gregory could keep a lid on his bias either, but I'd give the show a shot with him hosting. Hell, This Week is hosted by a notable liberal, so there aren't too many alternatives.
