I'm sure some sorority members at your school would be interested in knowing that you're saying "everyone gets in" and which sorority handsigns you like. All it really takes is one girl from your school to see this, think "wtf is this girl talking about" figure out who you are and it's a done deal. Just sayin'. It's happened before. No, I'm not kidding or exaggerating. A girl came here posting the same stupid type things and got SHUT DOWN at a school in FL. I'm sure she thought the internet was totally anonymous, and the school she went to was not a really competitive school either.

We don't say stuff just to creep people people out or be bitchy. We say this because it's true.

Seriously. Look how long it took Barack to become the presumptive Democratic nominee. :D

There's a reason why it's "almost" and not "always".

Sororities don't have to take every PNM that walks through the door. Thank God for that.

Go to the fraternity recruitment forum and read the thread about rushing at Texas by UTLonghorn2012. He presumed he was headed for a top-tier house, talked all about it on the internet and may well end up lower-middle tier because of it. Don't assume and certainly don't talk big.

And I like the DG anchor salute.

The ZTA crown 'hand sign' is strongly discouraged by our IHQ and most chapters have backed away from using it over the last couple of years.

That isn't the case on my campus certainly.

We dont' have a ZTA on our campus, what does it look like?
We have a phoenix that we do sometimes for pictures.

Make an "ok" sign with each hand. Now interlock the two loops that your thumbs and index fingers make. Touch the tips of your middle fingers above the loops, and spread out the rest of your fingers. Should like kind of like a tiara.

That makes more sense than what I was imagining. I was thinking maybe they just hold up one hand and spread the fingers/thumb out to make a 5-pointed crown. :p

Hey guys! As a PNM i have contemplated what my new sororities symbol will be, with the always adorable hand gesture. Personally i adore the Zeta crown and Kappa Delta KD! Which would you throw if you werent already representing your amazing sorority?!

I must be too old to play this game, bc in AXiD, we didn't do handsigns. There was no "repping" of any sort, other than pledges wearing their pins, their pledge shirts on Tuesdays, sisters wearing letters any day, and Thursday's "Colors or Letters Day".

In Gamma Sig, pledges always wore pins, and once a week was Colors or Letters day.

I have started to see some chapters of AXiD do hand signs. Don't know where it came from or what chapter started it, though.

Alpha Xi does have a hand sign. Some campuses use it, some do not. I don't know if HQ has an officially stance on it though. Its pretty simple, cross your index finger on each hand to make an X and hold yo your right pinky to make the i - you have a Xi.
