Wow! This took me back to my undergrad years (Yes, I was in college during the early 90's). If only I could go back in time for one day. Such great memories... |
aww this is so cute.

Wow, I just had some serious UG flashbacks (yes, I was an UG in 1990). :p

Sorry for the forum-crash ladies :)
But I came across this vid on youtube. It doesn't say its a probate, the title of the video is "Spring 07 Pyramid Presentation" and the ladies are wearing masks. I thought this didn't happen nowadays? http://youtube.com/watch?v=yr5u8Igm-Xw&feature=related |

I am going to believe it was an illusion since I don't know what is or isn't allowed in anyone else's intake. (I also REALLY liked it when I saw both parts together) |

Right, I know about probates.
But the video link I posted isn't a probate, its a "Pyramid Presentation" from 07 which is the same thing as the retro-video originally posted when NPHC pledged above-ground. Which is why I was wondering if that still happened nowadays that the NPHC orgs don't have official names for their pledge classes like they used to (e.g. Pyramid Club for DST, Ivy Leave Pledge Club for AKA, etc). Sorry for any confusion. And Idk whether its an illusion or not, because at the end they don't introduce themselves or state their names or take off their masks etc (like a probate). |

If you must type it, type it right. :p |
I could not see whether the masks were removed in the show.
But, similar to how this BA 1990 video was called "pyramid club intro" and was a probate show, this show was most likely a "coming out show." Or at the most it could be a preview for a larger coming out show. I've seen chapters do previews eventhough the women are no longer Pyramids. |
