I find it very interesting.

I was just making a general statement, not about this thread alone, but oldu's threads collectively, because a lot of GCers think that oldu is just trying to find different ways to find the "best" sorority.

Oh I do just take it at face value. I enjoy most of oldu's threads. The "Who's the Best" viewpoint was brought up in the Phi Beta Kappa thread.

I've read and re-read oldu's post many times, and I have yet to see where "best" is mentioned or implied. For me, it is very interesting data.

thank you oldu, for the interesting data, which i took at face value.

I think it's fine he wants to spend his time doing this because it's the kind of thing that would make me want to poke my eyes out. I don't find it objectionable for the most part because I find absolutely no applicable value to any of the "data" he gathers. He just seems like a guy who likes making hash marks on a page and found an arena that provides an opportunity to do a lot of it.

I believe oldu mentioned in a thread that she is a SHE, and a former executive board officer of her sorority. Just sayin' I don't think oldu is a he.

I thought that oldu was (duh) an old DU.

If she's a she, then I think she's a sock.

I don't think you read the Phi Beta Kappa thread.

OK, I went back and re-read the original post in the "don't take oldu so seriously" thread and I guess I was wrong - "it" states that it's a former board member, but does not state sex.

No, no -- oldu is male.

I like OldU. I see it as a type of informative post. Kind of like how an encyclopedia provides you information so that it available for reference at any time.

I do not disvalue the hard work and beliefs of any organizations based on facts that do not specifically pit them against one another.

The information is provided merely for us to look at. The speculation arrives from assumptions.

Correct. OLDU is a male. He is a DU alum from Ohio State.
