I knew where this thread was going to go when I saw the title. LOL.

Not quite the same crown, but it's the same size. Anyway, you get the idea. This thread reminds me of Penelope (SNL skit), the pathological liar, braggart, and notorious "one-upper". |

I LOVE that sketch! Especially the one where she tries to one-up Lebron James! |
Sigh. I always feel like I missed out on so much by not discovering GC until fairly recently. Can anyone recommend some specific fun pathological liar threads?

Well, that's certainly going to open up a can of worms like you wouldn't believe. ;) |

I did go on a date with this guy who claimed to have all of these nice cars and homes throughout the free world. I was young and dumb (18) so, I believed him.
This fool had nerve enough to pick me up in a Ford Topaz, telling me his "Benz" was in the shop. (more like at the Benz dealership) I told him that I was going to drive my Jag and meet him at the resturant. That fool is probably still waiting, and I'm still waiting on my Jag. Why you all think people feel like it's necessary to lie? |

^^^I found the "what pageant title would you want?" thread and got tears laughing at so much of it. When Jen screamed "You're ruining pageant day for us!" and then told the poster to "stop drinking the haterade", I was done.

KDLady00 was her username but she has deleted or edited her posts. |
^^^Oh, there are still a lot out there. I've ignored the laundry I planned to fold while watching SNL because I got sucked into reading old threads. She not only contradicted herself thread-to-thread, she changed her story right in the same thread! And the pageant pictures -- wow.

Man....I missed SNL. :-( |

Yeah, KDLady00 claimed to be an Ole Miss KD. Her lies were pretty elaborate. She was busted by a very knowledgeable KD alumna on this site, as well as another Ole Miss KD who posted here. She was a "beauty queen" also. I put that in quotation marks because they were the high glitz local level pageants (akin to the ones that kids compete in like "Miss Emerald Gingerbgread Queen") and not a state or national level one that you might think of like Miss USA or Miss America. I believe she was also an "authorized Louis Vuitton bag dealer" like there are any of those.

Loved the Pageant thread. NittanyAlum, thank you for pointing it out.
