I love watching "The Soup" when they make fun of Tyra. It is so true! |
Not entirely happy with the girls they chose this year. There were 3-4 that I would have switched with the other runner-up girls.
I could have done without Marvita, Dominique, and Amy (aka "Amis"). I liked Kristen and the other plus-sized girl. Marvita kind of looks like a less-attractive Ebony from Cycle 1, and her personality reminds me of Bianca from last season. Tyra always says she doesn't want to put another "black b*tch" in the house, but they've cast one ever year except Cycle 8. |
Good grief...ANTM 10 just started and already they're casting for Cycle 11.

Not really surprised that Atalya got sent home. I almost forgot that she was even there.
Glad Barbie's gone too. I feel bad for the girls who were cut in the first episode. They WANTED to be there. If only Tyra would bring back one of them since it's still so early in the season? One can only hope... |

Amis thinks she's Edie Sedgwick, and she is really, really, really NOT.
I didn't understand the whole "extra girl" thing, especially since I know now it was Dominique the tranny. I honestly think the blonde girl who left because she isn't into fashion is on the top 10 of dumbest contestants ever. |
What do you think of the new judge, Paulina Porizkova?

She's already better than Twiggy |

Kim...WOW!!! So it's like that, huh?
I'm starting to like Paulina a lot more than Twiggy. I don't have a favorite yet, but I don't like Marvita...too mannish! Can't wait for the makeovers! :) |

They really need to up the ante on the screening process; I can't believe Kim got through with an attitude like that. "I'm just not into the whole fashion thing." Seriously? It almost seems like both Fatima and Marvita act like their struggles are in the past and they can't wait to show the world they've overcome, yet when someone calls them on being witches to those around them, suddenly their stories come up all over again. They never directly use their pasts as an excuse for treating people like dirt, but when someone calls them on their behavior, the tears and pain start. I'm sympathetic to both, but that's what I'm seeing. |
