Always nice to have a voice of reason, but twenty-one shots and one to grow on isn’t that uncommon of a tradition. Of course knowing your own limits and having close friends with you always helps.

Have a good time Clint but stay away from the silver bullets. 21 shots of that and I'd be puking for a week.

It's still tough to fathom not being able to legally drink until 21, but i geuss there's ways around it.

You're right Jacque!!! Nice to have a voice of responsiblity here http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif, since my cousin had 21+ shots when he turned 21...was rushed to the ER...almost DIED of alcohol poisoning ...luckily he is still alive, as I love him very much!

Happy 21st Birthday...and enjoy it because there's probably no other birthdays to look forward to...except retirement and finally getting Social Security (if we even still have it).

I turn 22 on August 4th...and I AM NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO IT. I wish I could stay 21 forever.

Oh--and please be careful when celebrating. I did the beer mixing with hard liquor thing, and on August 5th I thought I was going to die.

I still have 11 months till I turn 21. If I drank 21 shots, there's no doubt about it, I would die. My little self just couldn't handle that! I'd stay away from tequila... it doesn't mix well with other types of liquor (I know from experience http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif). And liquor and beer mixed together doesn't always work so well either...

Well I completed the 21 shot ritual with one to grow on. Those last few were not going down so well. I kept it together until I got home then I completely lost it all. The 21 shots really didn't get me. What got me was that my parents came in and my dad would order like 4 margaritas at a time and expect me to drink.

It was a lot of fun though (except from the ralphing). Thank all of you for your kind words you guys are great.

Hey lifesaver, where in Texas do you go to school? I had some brothers stop at a chapter in Texas on their way to Vegas. They said that the guys were great.

Anyway, Thank you all and now I am going to bed forever.
