I think "deepher" is so cute! I have always wondered why Gamma Phis are always . . Gamma Phis and not Gammas. We are the only ones who start with Gamma, so it seems to me an obvious one, but no - I've only heard Gamma Phi and G Phi B.

At any rate, Congratulations!

"Gamma" is what my three year old nephew-to-be calls his Grandmother. That may be why ;)

My mother is "Gammy" to her grandkids - but one reason she is called that is because she IS a Gamma Phi!

My mom was "Gammie," too!!!

I have to laugh about this. I remember this one, rather biotchy girl who was rushing at another school my freshman year. She kept telling me that Gamma Phi Beta were the "Betas". I think she quickly realized she was wrong

Betas? Like the FISH??? Too funny . .

Welcome to DPhiE. I can probably guess which school but drop me a private message.

I'm not saying it's you, but someone should report the hazing or it will continue. BTW...did you ever report the hazing from your coed chapter?

Benzgirl 01-29-2008 03:40 PM

It's up to you, but if they did it then, they are probably still doing it.
Either way, enjoy being a new PNM. They will probably treat you like royalty compared to your other pledge period.
