San Antonio, baby. Spent the day at Schlitterbahn today. Got burned, am exhausted, but it was WONDERFUL. Gotta love the Masterblaster, RagingRiver and Black Knight.

alphachiohmy- I love those kind of nights in C'Dale(which really, knowing SIU, could be any night)! I always miss quarter draft night at Sidetracks, MikeandJoe concerts, and Wiseguys subs when I get home!! Southern IL is just so laid back and full of fun. I get 'school-sick' when I'm away...that's why its gonna take me an extra year to graduate!!

Lifesaver- I was on the Guadelupe(sp?) just this past weekend. Some of my friends and I made our fourth annual appearance at the Luling Watermelon Thump.
Speaking of porn titles, it always make me laugh seeing thousands of people walking around wearing t-shirts saying "Thump this"LOL

Purple Turtle, where do you go to school? I go to SWT and I am assuming Life saver that you are at UTSA? Or maybe just that's where your from. nd lifesaver what fraternity are you in, if one, I am just curios. Gotta love us texans!

I lived in San Antonio for 6 years when I was younger and miss it so much - SeaWorld, the Alamo, the water parks. Went to St. Lukes Catholic off of Callahan, and my best friend went to school at St. Marys. San Antonio is definitely a great place for summers. Oh to be back!

I miss Mihealanjelo concerts too, just missed them last thursday. Miss the traditional Carbondale summer must-haves: bagelman, spillway, Giant City, my old lewis park pool and vball court and pinch penny. I could go on and on ...

yeah, SA is cool. I like it here, but ma ready to move on to the next phase of my life. Dont know where but somewhere in texas. Good to see fellow texans on here.

BOBCAT - Yep, UTSA. Am a Lambda Chi. (Alumni status. Serve on the Alum advisory board, but still party withthe brothers on occasion). Even if we are rivals, gotta love some bobcat. Ya'lls Greek Life Director used to be our Greek Life Director and he ROCKS. CANT SAY ENOUGH about Terrence. He was runner up to LXA's Greek System Advisor of the year award in 1997. Have been to some of my best college parties at SWT. Gotta love it.

Purplturtle - Am doing the Guadalupe North river this weekend, Bezdek's to Bezdek's. Best ride, and not as crowded, but you can still people watch. If ya are under 21 and dont wanna be busted by the cops for indulging, got to the 2nd bezdeks and hav ethem take you north to River Canyon. GURANTEE no cops there. No other tuber really, but VERY relaxing.

That is awesome Lifesaver. My boyfriend is a Lambda Chi and this year about 10 of my sisters and 10 of his brothers hit up Padre. We met a lot of UTSA Lambda Chi's. actually a couple of my sisters had a blast with some of ya'll- Needles to say we have tons of pics from it and they still laugh and say "just think, those guys are only a half hour away" Ya'll should come and visit some time, love to have ya!
