I'm so excited - I've also heard that one of the girls I used to advise (who transferred to UofA) is getting involved with the chapter there. Woo hoo! :)

According to the official website, Delta Gamma chapter took a whopping 186 Alphas! Congratulations to all involved!

How pathetic am I that I'm crying. It's been so long since the chapter has had that many members. When I was there there was like 80 girls, we were the smallest chapter. You would walk through the house and see all the composites from the late 80's and early 90's and they were huge. I wanted that to happen again. And it did.

God I'm pathetic. Lol.

I just looked at the website for the chapter (someone posted a link in another thread) and I am even more excited for Delta Gamma now! The house looks great and 186 Alphas is incredible- violets to our recruitment/expansion team!

polarpi 09-30-2008 11:29 AM

I texted Bri about this last night when she passed on the news - I am SO proud of Delta Gamma and the wonderful new women who've become a part of our sisterhood (I'm additionally partial, since U of A is part of our province :D)

Congrats to the recruitment/expansion team on another job well done!

Jill, you're an honorary ADPi Forum poster by now - not a crasher! You're welcome at any time!

It is Homecoming this weekend so my mom and I are going to tailgate and I will get to show her the house I worked hard on this summer. I'm missing my own Homecoming this year. For some reason I would rather watch a USC game than drive up to Flagstaff to watch Weber State and participate in Homecoming activities @6am. nauadpi remember those days or maybe those memories are fuzzy like mine? :p

ASUADPi 10-19-2008 11:55 PM

I'm also going down for homecoming, even though I graduated from ASU. I really want to see the completed house and I would like to meet the girls.

Oh yes I do remember... Amazingly I think a lot of sisters are heading up for homecoming this year, mostly ones that graduated before you were initiated...

ASUADPi 11-08-2008 09:40 AM

Initiation is today! Woo Hoo!

I'm heading down this afternoon for the installation banquet. I'm so excited!!!! My biggest problem is finding a semi-formal that actually fits (I'm sure I've got one in the house somewhere :D).
