Get it, its awesome. And the GLX is only about $2K more than the GLS VR6 and has way better resale value. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif I LOVE my car. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif PLus the GLX comes with every option standard, so the price is the price, no added cost for CD changer, sunroof, etc.

'97 Honda Civic EX. Silver with tint.

lifesaver 06-13-2001 06:14 PM

A the old timers know, the 2K Cranberry Red Ford F-150, named Kimber. Got it on Spring Break. Tinted windows, replaced the grille, (was chrome, and a ton of it - looked like an unpainted 747) to match the body color, with the black honeycomb grille, and next paycheck- Grille guard and nerf bars. Really want the front-end replacement, but that is about twice what the grille guard costs.

1999 Honda Civic EX--white and fully loaded--complete with sunroof, spoiler, and mirror tint. I love it, but what I really want is a black Toyota 4Runner.

I drive a 97 jeep cherokee, though usually alone everyone refuses to ride with me. Some of the brothers even make it a point to tell pledges not to ride with me, something about being "wreckless" or "careless" though I'm almost accident free......

I think it came from a story about how when I was a pledge, I was "racing" one of my pledge brothers from the fraternity house back to campus and I drove through a frisbee golf course (shortcut)..... No one was there at the time though......

01 Toyota Corolla. I just got it about a month ago. Its silver with grey interior. Its not the fanciest car but its very reliable with the commute I have to work. I was driving a 98 Neon but it ran into some problems, so I'm glad I dont have that problem anymore http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif Once I pay it off in two-three years I want something like a Chrysler Sebring Conv, Saab Conv, or a BMW of some kind. I drove a blue mazda pickup when I was in college.

I have a blue 1997 Honda Civic LX that's been through hell and back. I thought about getting an EX, but I decided I didn't want to pay extra $$$. It's been paid off since last January...but insurance is such a pain in the azz.

Life, good site. If you are going to try to buy that front end replacement, you might want to look into its ability to accept a winch or not. Winch's dont sound like much, but after I got hung across a steep creekbank 2 weeks ago with only 3 wheels on the ground and my front bumper dug in, I decided that its time to put one on my truck. Would have saved me the embarassment of having to have my little brothers truck pull me out. 9 years in that truck and I have never hung it, till now.

I dont know if you know anything about welding or not, but if you dont go out and buy a copy of Haynes Welding Basics, a good cutting torch kit and a good welder, and teach yourself how to weld. Not only will you be able to make most of your truck accessories yourself, you also get to add more tools to your collection and have a 1 up on your friends that cant weld, and thats the name of the game. I dont know if your accessories are black or chrome. I hope you are going with black. Our trucks are the same color and I think chrome is for sissies. Maroon (or Cranberry) is just better looking with black.

The headache racks on that site are goodlooking too, but they need to run the rails down the length of the bed, instead of stopping right below the toolbox.

We need a trucking forum.
