Mr Sageofages gets all teary-eyed every time he watches it. It ranks up there as his all time favorite movie.

Absolutely!!

I never liked it until fairly recently, but I now appreciate "It's a Wonderful Life".

Oh and you can't forget about A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Those are the only two I ever care about watching.

I hate the Rankin-Bass claymation movies. (nittanyalum, hope that won't be a problem on TAR. ;))

A Christmas Story is the only must-see in my house.

MysticCat and nittanyalum, y'all are cracking me up with your TAR references. I hope you decide to actually try out. I've never watched the show, but I definitely would if I got to see the two of you in action. :)

It's often overlooked but Die Hard is a great Christmas movie.

Just bought it, Walmart and their cheap cheap prices got me this year!

And I was just looking for Crash for a term paper I swear!

Ok, fair enough. Because I am apparently one of the only people alive that isn't a big "A Christmas Story" fan, so as long as you promise to leave your ACS copy at home and I leave my R-B collection here on my shelf, we'll be just fine. Hey, differences make a team stronger, right? ;)

Oh, and such action it will be! I'm still waiting for tryouts for the next season to be posted, but we'll let you know what's up when the time comes!

HOW did I forget that one!!!!! I also try to watch that at least once a holiday season. Classic, classic, classic. Good choice, Kevlar!

A Christmas Story. Ralphy's house is now open for tours. The lines were so long last year that I never had a chance to get in. And the Chinese Restaurant did a booming business (Peking Duck is on the menu)

There's no need for us to leave them at home (except for the whole keeping our packs light thing). This is just one of the ways that we will complement each other.

JUST thought of another Christmas-set movie that I love: While You Were Sleeping.

Totally a chick flick and my husband can't stand it but I love, love, love that movie!!!

Favorite exchange:
Sandra Bullock: "I love you."
Bill Pullman: "I love you back." <- I don't know why I love it so much, but I love that line!!

SOPi_Jawbreaker 11-21-2007 09:57 AM

Rankin-Bass claymations
Charlie Brown
Grinch
A Christmas Story
The Sound of Music (not an actual Christmas movie but when we were little, we used to watch this with my mom every year during the holiday season)

I promise y'all that we were just now in a Chinese restaurant and as we started on the main course, they began to play "Deck the Halls". I had to hide my face in the corner of the booth so I wouldn't fall over laughing and we thanked God fervently that Baby Berry wasn't with us.

Probably mine as well. My IRL sisters and I can pretty much quote the entire movie.
