Judging from past posts I've read over the years from the OP, she does have a tendency to overreact and I think many people who replied to her in this thread did so thinking the same thing.

You have an advantage then, I don't know the OP's post history, just basing my opinion on this post. I agree she started off wrong, but no need to jump the girl. She obviously cared a lot about her signature - and maybe it is hard to recreate... :confused:

I replied to her comment in the same civil tone that I have replied to yours. Also, I ask that everyone spell my name properly, again, civil. You're reading pissed into what isn't there.


And had she come on here with a "hey what happened to the signatures?" instead of a "this is editing of my work and no one has the right to do so" I would have reacted differently.

Maybe you should read the posts before hitting the quick reply button - I never said you were pissed, just that I thought some people were taking it too seriously, and that it was ironic since you have accused others of doing this. And do you need to react at all - not civil, snarky. And you admitted it yourself. And everytime I see your screen name, I see DroleFILE, that extra L always throws me. I'll attempt to clarify again for you, the first reply: snarky. The second reply, the one you thought was taking you too seriously, civil. Not necessarily nice, civil.

It is clear however, you're trying to win some sort of "thing" here. I do hope you keep trying, life's more entertaining this way. Plus you're fulfilling the true spirit of the other site. Whine about snarking and then do it (or try to do it in this case) yourself.

Nah, she wasn't wrong - cutiepatootie has a history of overreaction and generally being wrong. For her to rant about something that is common knowledge probably deserved the 'snark' she received. OP, I think your "no one has a right" type language seemed a little silly to people who were around for the initial discussion of signature changes. It was discussed pretty thoroughly, I'd say. Many users were angry about it.

You didn't miss much other than knowing that yours was one of many that were changed and possibly knowing in advance what you need to change if you wanted to keep it.

You can recreate your old one as long as it fits the requirements.
