How the frick to do you even remember who you met (on the recruitment side) with parties that large..? (approx 85 women a party!) And then REMEMBER them after the holiday break with recruitment starts in earnest!

Oh...I am so in awe of recruitments that large!

We had 1200 in 18 parties, and yes, it was tough. What was worse...Round 1 was only 15 minutes!

Wait, why January? What am I missing??

Indiana does round 1 in October and finishes the rest after winter break. Kind of silly, kind of sensible. This allows them to eliminate grade risks, since they'll have a GPA in January. It also eliminates the most tedious part of recruitment when the PNMs get back (Does IU come back from winter break early for recruitment? If so, it reduces the amount of time that PNMs have to come back early.). However,this eliminates any transfer freshmen and last minute-women from going through, it's pure torture to wait 3 months to see where you are invited back and it opens wide the door for dirty rushing (more so than most deferred recruitment campuses) since PNMs and members have officially met.
