Oh Sweetie,
Your story was so genuine, but I can understand why you suicided. Take some time for yourself. You too will make new friends. |
Thanks for all the kind words everyone, things will be fine. :) ;)

Curious people want to know what's going on!!! Tell us! (I may have to lie down on the floor and throw a tantrum - I wanna know!):D

I wonder if perhaps her school is extending and she's going to investigate being a charter member of the new organization?

Best of luck to you if you're going through recruitment for a colony right now. There are a couple GCers rom have experienced becoming part of a new colony and they say it's very rewarding.

Keep your hopes up! My freshman year I went through formal and ended up bidless, and then ended up joining my sorority's colony that held its recruitment a few weeks later. It's been almost 3 years, and I haven't regretted it for a moment. Being part of a colony is a really unique experience. Good luck!

zetakitten, you make a good point. I hear about ZTA colonies and I think it would be really neat to be a sort of "founding sister."
|
And....colonies WANT a mix of upperclass and freshmen women, since they don't want everyone graduating the same year.
Best of luck to you, and kudos on having such a great attitude. I hope your year is fabulous! Let us know what happens in the weeks to come. |

Good luck. As other posters have said, being in a colony is VERY rewarding. I just graduated this past May - and I hate being out of school already. I miss my sisters, but I'm so proud of how well they are doing ;) |
