One more item:
nail file or clippers... a broken nail can be awkward in a hand shake.

Loving the suggestions so far, especially the coffee filters & flowers in the morning!

An emory board would be good, too.

Crazy as it may sound, I'd add a handwritten note, reminding your Daughter how precious she is to you no matter what!

YES! This was the first thing I thought of! We had a big problem a few years ago with a girl starting her period during a party. She asked one of the girls in the house for a tampon but they wouldn't give it to her because they were worried about the "gift" rule. I was a total ordeal!

OK, that's when you know reporting infractions is out of control. They should have told her where they were in the bathroom and to go steal one.

If this is a winter recruitment, sweat and oil might not be as much of a problem as UGA in August.

They'll either need them or they won't.

Band-Aid brand Blister Block Stick is great if they are planning on wearing new shoes or have a long day in heels! It definetly keeps the blisters away. In-soles might be helpful too if they are wearing boots or shoes without much support!

Not everyone would need these, but it shocked me to see how many girls left their inhalers and epi-pens at home. I heard a story about how a PNM was stung by a bee during recruitment and had to miss the rest of the day because she did not have her epi-pen.

A small umbrella can also make or break a day.

Wow. I know girls want to pack lightly for recruitment, but why would they forget something so important?
