17 at Alpha Omega Zeta. We're hoping to get 3 more which would make this our largest class in years.

My chapter officially associated 21 great new men to our chapter. With a possability of associating a few more soon. Myself and another alumni have initiated a challenge for the chapter to get 30 AMs and we would sponsor an event for them of their choosing. We're hoping we'll have to fulfill our challenge.:)

lambda epsilon zeta - a-section at kettering university had 17 bids returned, putting a-section at approximately 50 members for next term.

this is the biggest we've been in decades and allows us to pull away as the biggest house on campus, the next largest is in the mid thirties.

Fresh from a trek to beautiful Normal, IL, for Illinois State's Homecoming, I can report that Beta-Omicron has associated 19 (possibly 20) men.

What struck me as unusual was the number of local recruits...I believe they had 5 guys from the Normal-Bloomington area, which is a throwback to my days as a UG.

Naturally, chapters experience an ebb & flow w/their recruiting - back in the dark ages of the mid-70's, we had a few guys who hailed from farm towns. This made it easy to have a hayrack for a Homecoming float

Most of the current Beta-Omicron chapter members come from the Chicago suburbs, so it's a lot harder to find somebody who'll go home, butcher a pig & bring it back for a pig roast (this sort of thing is frowned upon in the 'burbs). Ironically, all of the local roasters we tried to locate for this past weekend were spoken for, so we actually got one from the 'burbs.

Congratulation to B-O Zeta on the new associate members!

But I think you meant slaughter. Butcher is when you cut up an animal, and usually wrap the pieces individually. When we roast a pig, we go whole hog. :)

Suburban kid born & raised...guilty as charged.

My associate class of Fall 07 started out with 17 and 13 got initiated.

LX Z initiated 11 from the fall class of New Associates.

Already have six in the wings for Spring recruitment which is always slow.

Not bad for a Zeta that 2 years ago had only one member and a house that we closed for demolation!:)

Congrautlations to all of the reporting Zetas and LXA continues to grow!

I found out tonight that 24-30 associates( of the original 60 ) are going through this week.

congrats on the 24-30 associates. Iota Omicron Zeta had 12 associates in my class this past fall, and we initiated 7. We are looking forward to this coming Spring. Good luck to all with recruitment!

Upsilon Zeta initiated 43 I believe, crossing the 2500 initiate mark
