Mike & I saw it. It wasn't as good as the first but for entertainment value, I liked it.

Okay, I was told that Ben Gates' ancestor was Dr. Mudd, and he was out to exonorate him in this one - which freaked me out! It wasn't, and I enjoyed it. The boy was laughing at the number of clues I knew before Ben Gates mentioned them!

As for Page 47 - they mentioned several options for National Treasure 3: The Kennedy Assassination, Roswell, and a couple more. Sure, it's franchise and predictable - but in a good way.

As soon as the previews started, I said to my fiance "crap, I forgot this wasy a Disney movie." Plus, half the previews were the same as we saw the weekend before during I am Legend. And we were at a different theatre.

Yea, I have seen it twice now, but even seeing it the first time I firgured out most of the clues before Gates mentioned them....Heck I knew who Boothe was in the beginning because of the way they had him dressed, and I knew the date!

As for page 47, those are some good ideas Honeychile!!! They all sound good to me.

I kinda think the President might be in the next one too...

LOL - I hope the President is in it, too. I loved the whole Mount Vernon scene. Is that part true?

These are interesting predictions. I think it has to be something a little more vague though. I don't think they would do the Kennedy Assassination b/c what can you do to it to make it fictionalized? Lincoln's assassination was easier b/c no one is still alive from that era so things are easily fictionalized. The Kennedy Assassination wouldn't be as easy.

My question is why would the President want Ben to look for something on pg. 47? Shouldn't he know about it, I mean afterall he is the President of the United States and he should be privy to that information.

My husband seems to think NT3 will be about the Fountain of Youth since it is allegedly inside the US and would be a "national treasure."

I think Roswell could be possible. BUT I also think that it would have to be something more treasure-y....

We just saw it and loved it! I haven't seen the first one but we have the DVD so I will. Can't wait for page 47!
