Excerpts from much longer Athens Banner Herald article: "A fourth South Lumpkin Street fraternity has accepted the University of Georgia's offer to buy its house, as has a sorority that is at least temporarily disbanding. UGA agreed to pay Kappa Alpha and Delta Phi Epsilon $600,000 each for the houses they built on university property . . . . The Kappa Alpha purchase brings UGA one step closer to securing valuable property along South Lumpkin Street for a northwest campus expansion . . . .
