Wal-mart. dont ask.

The usual spots, clubs, bars, greek events. I got hit one about a year ago walking down the street during my lunch hour. Picture this, downtown scurring about to find food and I get to the corner to cross the street. As I'm waiting for the light, I notice to my left a small semi with the driver looking at me and smiling, then waving. I thought he was waving at someone else or making a delivery so I didn't respond. The light changed and I walked to the other side and noticed as I was walking, the truck was keeping up with me (yes I said keeping up, I walk fast:)). So I looked over and the guy waved at me and motioned for me to come over. Do you know this fool stopped in the middle of traffic to get my number?:eek::p As stupid as that was for him to do, I was actually quite flattered. No, didn't give him the number but we had a quick chat and then the pushed on.:cool:


I don't mind as long as the guy is really single. I've been getting hit on recently by married men (yuck). The ego boost is great and any girl who says otherwise is a liar. I like it when I'm on my lunch break downtown and the guy is with his co-workers and he tries not to be obvious about it but I see him trying to sneak a look...:cool:

Haha. Same here. And I know enough Spanish to get by and have the same experience as you. They're always shocked that this light haired, light eyed girl knows exactly what they're saying. I give them a dirty look and say, "You're disgusting" or something to that effect.

I also seem to get hit on at gas stations. I'm sure I'm looking incredibly sexy as I'm trying to wipe off the gas that spilled on my hands.

Depends. Of course, I enjoyed it more back when I was single :) but even then some guys were absolutely gross about it. Cat-calling at a gas station or saying something inappropriate won't get you anywhere. Oh, and when guys stare at me without any gestures like a smile, it just creeps me out - I'm not sure if the guy finds me attractive or if he's staring at me like a serial killer who just found his prey.

Going up to a girl and introducing yourself without focusing on her boobs or legs will probably get you somewhere! Screaming at her from across the bar and motioning for her to come over to you (yes, I've had this happen) will usually get the girl to turn right back around.

At least I'm not the only one..lol!!

i remember when my fiance and i first started dating...we went to walmart and while we were in the produce section, he picks up and starts squeezing all these peppers and melons...it became quite, umm, erotic! so next time you are in there, look for the sexy man taking his time with the cantalopes and hit on HIM!!!

I get hit on at Wal-Mart and I always look like :mad:. I don't know if I give off a "hey shourt guy" vibe or what:confused:

i love it when guys say "oh of course you looked kinda jacked in wal-mart, but i knew you would look great once you cleaned up" like im a crack head or something lol!

And of course they have on some jacked up t-shirt and shorts...lol....

I get hit on the most when I'm at work, which is pretty sketchy b/c I work in an inpatient psych unit at the hospital. And lately it seems like I'm getting hit on by an equal amount of both men and women, which is new for me...:confused:

I usually get hit on when I'm out. Sometimes just walking around downtown at lunch.. once I was walking through this buildings atrium to the outdoor seating and this guy who was waiting for the elevator didn't get on the elevator, but asked me for my number, when I didn't think that my BF would like that he told me that he must not be THAT great of a guy because I didn't have a ring. :rolleyes: :confused: :eek:

If he had left it alone after I said that it would've just been a nice ego boost ya know whatever.. but when I tell you I have a BF or that I'm not interested, please let it go... being super pushy really isn't attractive to me.

At bars, mostly. Which is why I've been avoiding them lately. :)

Other random places where men can interact with me.... restaurants, grocery store, the mall, the library was probably the most odd... he was cute, but I was taken. :D

is that why i don't ever see you around anymore? :D


OMGZ are we the same person?? my average cat-caller is middle-aged, without home, or generally sketchy as f*ck. and I get hit on my a lot of old west Indian/African men. i mean, it makes for a decent discount if i'm buying, say, knockoff handbags or bootleg DVDs, but not exactly what i have in mind for a casual Friday nite date.

i used to get hit on white corporate types when i was in school - you know, they'd do the whole "buy you a drink from across the bar" and then slip you their card on the way out. most were bold enough to insist, not ask, when we were going out.

Those of you in Atlanta probably know what I'm talking about --- there's this shopping center off Howell Mill, where they just put in that "fancy" Walmart, and at that Kroger and all the fast food places around there are full of the strangest characters who are always making off-the-wall passes.
