You can also "find" codes online to use as registrations. Take that for what you will as well.

As someone else said, you can always copy non-proprietary code from someone else's page!

I love Homestead.com :)

you may also request webspace from the host university that way it will look something like www.university.edu/chapternamehere alot of universities have this option you just have to ask for it. you pay for it.

Yep, organizations get space as well as individuals. You could always use your own student space for storage as well.

I have (usually because I'm developing it) and I know of several people who have. My UG chapter's intro is 2 minutes long with pictures of chapter members past from chartering to present. I tried to talk them out of an intro that long, but they wanted it to run for the entire song. I get e-mails all the time commenting on the intro, however, I don't recommend and intro that long.

I built ours years ago (it's still there--follow the link in my signature). I don't know any code--but I can figure out what it means if I'm looking at it. If our site is good enough for you--then you don't need anything fancy.

Consider the way that you download music. If you do so in a manner that's just South of legal, it's likely also possible to use that same method to search for Dreamweaver or Microsoft Frontpage.

I used a number of hosts--the best, cheapest, and longest-lasting has been siteground.com. It has a powerful control panel if you're technologically inclined and still a decent one if you're not.

Cors, I like your site. Very easy to move around in it, not a bunch of "under construction", or "coming soon" junk, easily found and used menu. Nice.!

Thank you.

The only thing that is 'under construction' is the Calendar. It was becoming too irritating to make it by hand and our host offered a relatively nice automated one--but it has become the duty of the current webmaster to take care of that.

I'm fairly proud of this page:
http://www.gmupsk.org/localhistory.htm
It's not incredibly well-done, but it has a lot of information that many chapters should keep.

I just finished this one up yesterday:
http://oklahomasigmanu.com/

It's meant as an informative alumni/active site for news on all chapters.
Feedback is more then welcome and will be appreciated.

Also, if you don't see the links to the Oklahoma chapters scrolling at the top, you need to either install or enable Java on your browser
