Because threads with duplicate lists suck:
Famous Greeks...or are they? Doing a search on Famous Greeks came up on the first page. I don't know what's so hard about doing that. |

Some notable sisters:
*Billie Letts- author of "Where the Heart Is" (became a movie) *Linda Denham- creator of Care Bears *Carrie Underwood- American Idol winner 2005 *Jennifer Blackburn Dunn - former WA representative, U.S. House of Representatives *Gladys Morelock - former Superintendent of the U.S. Mint |
yeah, Carrie Underwood was actually a Sigma at my university, but it was a year before i enrolled
|
A few from Alpha Phi Omega:
Bill Clinton (we all know who he is) Robert Gates (current Secretary of Defense) Carson Kressley (from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy) Bob Love (former NBA player - one of only a few players to have his number retired by the Bulls. It makes me smile every time I go to a game and see his number in the rafters!) James Lovell (astronaut) Tom Daschle (former Senate majority & minority leader) Tom Keane (former governor of NJ, chairman of the 9/11 Commission) Naraht and a couple others maintain a really good list here. |
Carson from Queer Eye? interesting lol

Does anyone have any famous people that came from their chapter?
Me: None that I know of (other then me ;) ) |
unfortunately no lol
|
John Wayne was a Sigma Chi at the Univ. of Southern California. He would return to the house periodically and visited with the brothers. I was told he also contributed to the chapter financially.

Here is a link to the famous alumni page from www.delts.org.
Like most, it is out of date, but will suffice: http://delts.org/About/Heritage/Famous.aspx I'm not listed. So sad. Probably the best known "current" Delt Alum would be this guy: http://web.wireimage.com/images/Thumbnail/468008.jpg But I also like to point out a local Denver resident, NFL Hall of Famer and Super Bowl MVP John Elway. |
Sigma Nu

Is Trippi the one who wrote Dean's speech..."We're going to North Carolina and South Carolina and Georgia, then we're going to Virginia, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and then we're going to Washington D.C. to take back the White House...HEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!?" If so, I think he needs a new job lol
