It was sort of hard to push John Tesh as one of our famous alumni during rush week. One of our guys (Alex again, you goof) always brought it up and even bought a few of his CDs... which I always made fun of him for.

We always tried to downplay the "new age musician" angle and refer to Brother Tesh as "the guy from Entertainment Tonight."

Couple that with "Spenser for Hire" and you've got a winner.

Nothing wrong with Brother John T, as he was from NC S U. He was also mentioned in the book I was sending around writen by the House Mother from the Zeta and never got it sent on or back!

It was called as I remember, " The Ketchup on the ceilling".

Wonder where it is now?

Well, I didn't dislike Tesh or anything... but when we were naming our "cool" alumni during rush week it was great to say Mark Brunell, Fred Biletnikoff, Benjamin Bratt, Powers Boothe (hey, we're in Texas), Harry S. Truman, Larry Brown and Rick Pitino. Everytime one of our guys cut in and mentioned John Tesh (Alex, you moron!) it was met with the same response.

I still can't get over that same guy (former High Alpha and Kappa, by the way) buying the CD and listening to it in his car. Then again, this guy is the same one who, during the 1996 North American Food Drive had his mountain bike on a rack above his car once and then drove under a low-hanging tree...

Cuba, great stroy as I can picture things in my mind and laughed loudly!!!!:D :D

If I had only known:

In a golf tournement, Slapped Robert Urich on the back and told him he was bigger and bertter looking in person.

Harry Truman who I knew before I became a LXA.

Fred B. who gave a great speach at my company meeting.

Being an Active Brother for only one year, I have found out many things over the years and much from here!:)

Were you in a local fraternity that merged with LCA, or did you start your LCA colony from the ground up? The only active for a year took me back a bit, then I remembered that you founded LC Zeta. I know guys that have only been active for a short amount of time before graduating, most all regret not joining sooner.

LOL, it was a local Beta Chi, and LXA was not in the picture as being to new as from 1909!

The TKE Advisor who became a Great Friend with me suggested in the strongest terms, LXA. Well, in the easiest terms, I called them and a TS in the old days came to call on us. He just passed away this year and I appologize for not remembering his name presented to us! A week later TX did the same. I won!:) LXA.

The TKE Advisor was Erik Conard who some have seen on LXA Thread fought for colonies with Gearge Spasyk in the old days and passed away this year.

As Erik told me, George got some and he got some!:)

But, mutual respect was always there.

He always had the greatest respect for LXA and did until he passed.

As many can see, I am still a LXA and will always be!:D

It is after all the BEST!:)
