I don't know how your city is, but chances are there may be some good sized young professional orgs around your area. Those would be the best since you can meet people, network in a setting that won't make you feel awkward. Good luck! :)

The post may be silly to you, but I hope it was useful to the OP who wanted some suggestions on how to meet people. I thought of some ideas, and then looked up the corresponding clubs/activities on the internet to save the OP some time. But.. you knew that! You are trying much to hard to be a member of the cult because you're afraid of them.

Haha, you're alive? You gotta be kidding me

(and I'm one of those members that have that same message on my screen that says I haven't been posting for a while)

Seriously, get a life and stop typing silly posts. TRIX ARE FOR KIDS!

It depends on what you like to do. I'm more of a social person and drink so like someone said the Blue Monkey is nice.

For a church, I can suggest Our Lady of Fatima. Although I'm not Catholic, I went to their school :)

Thanks for the link. I wish I had seen this earlier so I could go. Has any one been (or work at) to the innovation depot?

Youngest sister-in-law used to live in Birmingham, MI, but she moved to Pontiac to be closer to work. We lived sort of "down the street" in Berkley for a while.
