One thing odd about it was that Will Farrell seemed to be channeling Ben Stiller with some of his lines and they way he delivered them . . . sounded like Stiller when he is being really stupid. Sometimes he sounded more Stiller than Farrel.

I agree. Will Farrell made me think of Ben Stiller in "Dodgeball" and "Heavyweights".
