What about that group Pure Soul that sung "we must be in love" and remade "stairway to heaven"? I remember Mokenstef's He's mine ("He might be doing you, but he's thinking about me")- yeah right! I was going to mention Changing Faces, but I saw on BET where they have a new song out. What about Ready for the World, Rob Base, Wreckx-n-effect, Rakim, and Oaktown 357? Big Daddy Kane didn't sing/rap "I gotta man". I can't recall who did that....I got his face in my head too! I can't think of it. But maybe someone else can. Wrecks-n-Effects did the "shake the rump" song I liked Miche'le (however it's spelled) too. She did have a great singing voice. But her real voice just totally amazed me. I never understood how she could sing deep but talk so high! |
