I'm not talking about the toys.

You've obviously never been to a party where a male stripper's left more than his thong behind.

According to my best friend, there's a code of conduct that most Passion Party reps abide by. Hiring a stripper and having him "show you all the new things to do" is disgusting.

I know at Surprise Parties (the one I went to), men are not allowed at all during the product demonstrations. Men can come into the separate room and buy things after the main part of the party.

So it's like a bachelor party, LOL.

I had a friend a few years back...we called her "CRIP LIP".

You can kinda guess how she got it.

I was a Slumber Party rep all thru undergrad....the company has cetain rules about men being at parties or whatnot but to grow your business many reps do their own thing....some of my biggest parties were for gay men....like a $2000 party....if I followed the franchise rules then I couldn't even have a those parties.....I've done bachelorette parties where the stripper either started once my presentation was done or vice versa...no biggie at all...how is that asking for disease?????

there are also F.U.N parties. they hand out fake money and you accumulate by answering fun questions correctly. then you can use it for a little toy/lotion auction. we also played games with jello shots... taking one for every bad word that was said.

I went to one, but it was really just to see what it was about.

Since my friends and I are totally clueless about sex toys and such, it was really fun to see all the stuff the lady had.

She took orders in another room so those who wanted to order could have some privacy.

I'm confused.

I've been to a few. I was going to start selling items for a husband and wife team. I even accompanied him one time to a show when his wife couldn't come. We held that show in male strip club. It wasn't a big deal.

Dang, These parties seem like FUN! I was invited to one of these parties, but I didn't go. :(

How did I miss this thread?

I'm a current Slumber Parties distributor, and this is a serious business, not just some fly by night operation. NOTE: I became a distributor after attending a party where I had a blast! Over 10,000 distributors have a general code of conduct as outlined in our Handbook, but generally, each distributor runs her business the way she wants to. For example, I don't do strippers. I find it tacky personally, and my parties focus on a Girls Night Out with the girls cutting loose with NO MEN, getting educated about sexuality, and spicing things up in the bedroom (or other places...). BTW, trust that I'm not the only distributor that won't work with a stripper, but there are distributors who aren't opposed to it.

Put on the brakes there! You should always be cautious who you give your money to, but that was one bad representative out of thousands. The fact is many distributors, like myself, are just getting started, so they'll have to ship a lot of products in the beginning. Eventually, we build our businesses and start carrying products with us.

Feel free to PM me if you have other questions or want a party because Slumber Parties distributors will road trip for you.

Something to consider is that a lot of these parties sell "toxic" toys - either made of or containing products that can do some serious damage to your genitals.

Check out the Coalition Against Toxic Toys for more info.

For some reason the Jerky Boys came to mind:

I got wahts on my ass and genitalia...

Not even strippers? I DO DECLARE. How ever will I test out those wonderful toys?
