Chi Psi at Tech is like DKE at SFA. Those two schools don't fit with the rest of the chapter list.

There's a book about Chi Psi at UNC Chapel Hill...talks about their history, success academically and politically. An easy and interesting read.

At my school, Chi Psi is known as the Lodge. Don't know why, but that's what they rep during homecoming, etc...

They call their chapter houses "lodges" becasue their original lodge resembled a log hunting cabin.

We have Chi Psi at GMU. They're one of the newer organizations on campus. They do usually call themselves "the lodge" and are known for almost never wearing letters. GMU is a tough school to get established on--so they pledge a lot of older guys. But on the plus side, that means they have a generally mature group with few problems. Other than being small and new, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything bad about them.

Of course, the #2 most diverse school in the country right here outside DC isn't a place you generally find people who are into the whole 'big south' scene.

That kind of reminds me of FIJI.

They most certianally did not.

As a Chi Psi, I for one am pissed off at the use of our letters like this. I talked to some Chi Psis from other schools this weeked and confirmed that this sentiment is prettymuch shared by everyone.

Now we're waiting for a USC Chi Psi to get wind of this thread an issue an "official" statement. :)

I finally went to see the movie. Mostly because I read the this post and I wanted to see it in the first place. I know this is kind of not on topic here right now but if you did not see the movie it is not worth it, Wait for the DVD because all the funny parts were shown in the commercials.

Now getting back to Psi Chi. We dont have a Chapter of them down in Hawaii. I am a newly intiated Kappa Sigma brother and I really do see this as a downer for Fraternities a like. I already took critisism from friends about joining a fraternity because we dont have the greatest labels and some guys have to do something like this on a movie. Let alone talking about the subject matters they did.

In college, the Kappa Sigs were known as "the Kappa Pigs." It's sad to say that a couple of losers can spoil the reputation of a fraternity for some people.
