The Emcee I think.
|
Oooh, okay. A lot of people said that about Joel Grey even in the fifties when he played the Emcee on stage but he's been married to the same woman forever and has kids. But I can't imagine Doogie Howser prancing around in that role, lol.

Wasn't NPH on an episode of Will and Grace a few years back where he played a "cured" gay man who Jack (I think that's his name; Will and Grace's gay buddy) had a crush on?

Am I the only one who thought when they saw this "is this new to anyone?" I just assumed after seeing a few interviews and such that he was. It seemed apparent to me knowing the emcee role in Caberet.
BTW the emcee in the production he was in (the Roundabout Theatre Company) was a bit racier then the one Joel Grey played in the 50's. |
Re:Emcee role in Caberet
I don't know about you, but I ALWAYS get a gay vibe from the actor playing the emcee, whether he bats for the team or not. The emcee is SUPPOSED to give of a "gay vibe." |

Old news, knew about it last year.

for some reason that just doesn't phase me in the least. I loved doogie , but it just doesn't seem to shock me.

I was sad when Lance came out in a 'well there goes my childhood' kind of way. However, I never watched Doogie Howser so...good for him for coming out. Countdown to Clay Gaiken!
