Alpha Sigma Alpha does not have any such thing as "graduate membership."

Ergo, I would assume that the OP is talking about AKA.

Ergo, as with all other threads inquiring about membership in the NPHC sororities, this thread should be deleted.

Ah, that clears that up then. Unless the poster is more confused than she seems.

The use of the word pursue kind of hints that way, but it's odd that she went to the trouble of spelling out "Sigma"

Dude I'm totally imagining things. I thought in her post it said Alpha Sigma Alpha... *facepalm*

But the S is nowhere near the K...

In general, the thread would not always be deleted but closed depending on the appropriateness and/or redundancy of the question and advice. People generally come to the specific NPHC forum with membership-related questions, where they can find warnings against membership questions, so the fact that this poster didn't is interesting.

OP's such as this shouldn't even get advice until they learn the difference between AKA and ASA. Whichever sorority she meant, the slip is insulting. "K" and "S" are nowhere near each other on the keyboard. Even if they were, her interest in whichever sorority should preclude such slip-ups.

Well in that event, such a distinguished woman should have no problem getting into the sorority of her choice.
