You've been a registered user for 6 months, and you have over 1,000 post and you are telling other people to get a life...am I wrong? :rolleyes:

Just as I'd be passionate about a cause in person, I would be online.

Some people who I discuss issues with, I'd love to meet. Others, I am glad our paths will never cross.

Like it or not, the internet is a place to share ideas and points of view. Saying "get a life" is a cop out.

To have a good discussion, one must "attack the issue, not the person." Unfortunately, many people online do not understand this.

Oh, and BTW,as I mentioned in another thread: I've been on GC for 6 years & haven't reached 1000 posts. Some people have reached 1000 in just 6 MONTHS! And they say get a life?!

For the most part, I would agree with your rather nice posting.

Its interesting that you quoted that part of my comment....and then said something about my amount of posts in 6 months. Again, I post during the day, usually while in class or at the office when I don't have anything to do. The summer long internship also lead to a lot of posting.....I have a great social life filled with bars, fraternity parties, sorostitute functions, road trips, etc. etc. You can take that however you want....I really don't care.

.........I don't, however, get emotionally attached to this place nor do I take anything on here as seriously as some of you. Its a website, not a matter of life and death. The fact that there was actually some sense of "drama" on here, mostly concerning, again, a senile old man, was rather humorous to me.......so I made a thread. Oh well.

Brother;
I agree with you...interesting how some people try to live their lives here while controling the board...

You SAE's sure are acting as the circle of brothers eternal - you guys always have each others back, even outside of loyalty, friendship, honor and fraternity. What year were you guys founded?

Perhaps you can look in my signature.....or the string of numbers at the end of Jon's name.....dipshit.

It really must be awesome being a sigma chi at a second rate university. I bet yall are true brothers in every sense of the word. I would ask you what you're doing this weekend, but it probably involves watching one of our schools play football on tv, while sitting in your dorm room splitting a 6 pack of sky blue. Hell yeah bro, brotherhood. Other fraternities probably waste their time on networking and girls and parties, but nah, we're here for the brotherhood. Way to stay above the riff raff, bro.

This is an internet forum.....not a matter of life and death. Some of you are posting as if the happenings of this site are actually getting to you deep down inside. If what goes on here actually angers you to the point that you feel the need to bitch and rant to a "higher power".......you should drink a couple bleach coctails, end your life, or kick your own ass.

Thanks. 6th Street in Austin was a blast tonight. I went to a couple places known as "Bars" you all should try them out. Its a very good alternative to a keyboard and quick reply.

Dude, you're the main one who gets all bent out of shape when racial issues are brought up. You should be the last person posting this thread. Don't get me wrong you've made some valid points that I agreed with, but no need to get so pissed off.

You should also know that I don't take GC to heart and don't get into fits of emotional rage over it.

You do have fits of emotional rage dude. I won't be surprised if you blow up on me for this post. I think you just called someone a dipshit. No need for name calling unless you are seroiusly joking. Doesn't sound like it though.:p

Calling someone a name on a message board liek this, like you do in almost every thread your a part of isn't getting worked up over nothing?

Does pointing it out make any difference?
And I think we have all seen a great deal worse, which is what Mac' was pointing out and NO ONE seemed to make a great deal about that....besides the group that was doing it.....

SigmaChiGuy;
I do truly hope that you were making a joke based on Mac's and mine sigs or tags.:D ;)
If not, our Fraternity's history is not that hard to find on-line.
