We here at GreekChat do not like sugarcoating things, especially when the OP doesn't really seem interested in putting in the effort (READ: "quick question").

Aside from the snarky comments, though -- good advice was given by people who have started colonies. I think those posters went to great lengths to be as detailed as possible, and there's only so much that can be said about topics like this.

Since this thread wasn't satisfactory to your standards, you might want to try and check out the similar discussions located on the bottom of the page.

Oh good grief. You're responding to someone who never had more than one post, and that one post was 6 years ago. I'm guessing that starting a fraternity, no matter how "flexible" it might be, isn't really a priority for him these days.
